Should a couple news organizations, who directly pay salaries to various folks, which folks directly and insistently spout statements directly supporting the dims or attacking the repubs, be required to report those payments as campaign contribs to the dims.
FEC does have rules for:
Public communications that promote, attack, or oppose a clearly identified canidate.

On your first statement- it's hard to decipher what is news nowadays.

The real sad part of all this is when there is clean and obvious evidence, like video, audio, or pictures, a lot of people STILL deny the truth and facts. But, that's part of the hight of bullshit when it comes to damage control: can you lie your way out of your confession?

The lawyers in these news organizations, in my humble opinion, do much of the writing of the infotainment. It's sickening and engrossing all at once.
