Default The New Division of the State

I was going through some reviews and was wondering how the board/mods are splitting the upstate division into the Hudson Valley? A couple of Ithaca reviews appear to have moved to the new region, but it does not make sense to me.

Since I seem to be in the middle of no man's land here, and while I don't mind lurking in both areas, I would like to know where things are going to be.

Thanks

Ithaca will be in Hudson Valley area since it is close to Albany.

No offense, but its almost 3 hours from ithaca to albany, and less than 1 hour to Syracuse and still less than 2 to Rochester. And its less than an hour to Bingamton.

I know that sometimes lines have to be drawn, but this makes no sense!

Shitdam! Those ENY folks got their own forum.

Ahh, Ithaca is WAY part of the CNY scene. It's squarely in between Syracuse, Bingo and Elmira. The southern tip of Cayuga Lake is not in the Hudson River Valley.

I guess we are cutting a bit in half. Syracuse would be the center point. It is open for discussion so what are everyones thoughts?

Make the guys & gals from the borders (Ithaca, Utica) pick their own area. Or follow the map Jack put up a couple days ago.

How about we put a claim on you, lol. I think you are in the perfect spot to be in both areas.

They can have Herkimer eastward.

Leesa stays with us.

That's my final offer.

Someone failed geography!!! ITHACA is SOUTHSOUTHWEST of Syracuse. UTICA is EAST of Syracuse. Get your shiznit straight!!! My odometer says 90 miles to Rochester & 165 miles to Albany. End of lesson.
