The last time I visited Tijuana, maybe around 4th of July last year, the Hotel Cascadas, right upstairs from and owned by Club Hong Kong, wanted my ID to check in. I think in late 2022 they had a girl murdered by an American, and it took time for anyone to ID the guy because the Hotel did not have check ID, and for a time there was a rumor that it was an American sailor or something. I don't really remember all the details.

Regardless, I absolutely do not trust those people with my actual name and address. Maybe they are being honest that they will never ever share my info, that they don't care who I am or whether I am married or have a career, that they will never use my info in a way that will harm me. Fine.

But that doesn't mean they won't have their data stolen and released on the web in some kind of breach. Or maybe some angry ex-employee is able to get a thumb drive and download their data and post it everywhere. Or some cop who didn't get paid off.

SOLUTION: FAKE ID.

Using fake IDs for online verification, especially on dating apps like Tinder, can be tempting, but it's not worth the risk. I've heard stories of people getting banned or facing legal consequences for using fake info. Plus, being honest from the start sets the foundation for genuine connections. It's better to play it safe and be yourself. Trust me, it's worth it in the long run! And remember, many platforms have an advanced fake id checker now, so the risk of getting caught is higher than ever.

The only real trouble is going to happen if you use your fake id for banking or the government.

a ton of sites will use a 3rd party payment processor. Use fake id to sign up which doesn't require id anyway. And a real one for money.

Or privacy.com They get your real id because they deal with banks. I can use their card for a website and put any address, any name because they will accept anything from a website. You get charged through your real bank and even the transaction can have a fake name. Actually pretty cool for security and privacy.

No physical card, but the online stuff works well.

The only "risk" on dating apps is they might ban you. Then move on to the next one.

"genuine connections" lol - do you know what site you're on.
