Obama just doled out another $1 billion in loan guarantees to his cronies (Democratic contributors).

The list of the beneficiaris includes: Nancy Pelosi's brother in law; more Solyandra investors, and the Democraticly well-connected Carnahan family of Missouri.

Obama rushes to flush tax dollars on "green" projects before the September 30th deadline..........and the taxpayers will get screwed (again)!!!!!!!

The most recent Obama job boondoggle cost taxpayers $1.1 million per job created (permanent and temporary)....

Looks like more info to come.

One quick question. Why did you add "union project"? Where does that information come from?

Love your faith in American ingenuity, work ethic, and our future place in world's competitive environment (sarcasm, asshole).

Yes, if the company never repays a single penny, taxpayers could get caught holding the bag.
Of course if they pay the loans back we would make close to a billion in profit.

We should stop all loans to anything that deals with something investing in a future technology. Let's invest in stuff China will do for 10% of what our workers make. Fuck those factory workers here. They should have gone to college, no wait, that's bad too. They should have been ...plumbers. Yeah, that's the ticket. Let's look around and see what's current, ignore our traditional role as the leaders of technology of the world and play prevent-defense economics. We'll ride that first half lead (1900-1999) into a big win in the second half (2000-2099). Just like the Minnesota Vikings have done this year. Why won't the government loan money to someone who will build a factory to make incandescent light bulbs? (yes you guessed it. heavy sarcasm)

(back to sarcasm) But then, one company went bankrupt after borrowing the money so don’t lend any to an elitist green company. Because as a great man once said, "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

And you know who said it. (still being sarcastic)

Where in the Constitution is the clause that authorizes the federal government to lend money to anybody?

That clause is being misused to justify any action by the federal government.

If you can't spell boondoggle, maybe you're not the best qualified to be the authority on boondoggling. But hey, it's a hooker board...who said anyone was smart here anyways (except to themselves)?

LOL! Then the commerce and general welfare clauses can mean ANYTHING, which means we have no Constitution. The commerce clause is to regulate commerce among the several states, and the general welfare clause grants Congress only the authority to do the necessary things to perform their strictly enumerated powers. Nice try, Af. But no cigar this time.
