Lay and Skilling were oblivious. How did it work out for them?

When all these Departments report up through the chain to the top guy, its ultimately his responsibility. That where the buck stops, and what we are not seeing here in these various cases going on.
you may as well be talking to a brick wall CC

The WSJ says that the Scandal started at the top and the New York Times reports that top administration people knew about it for well over a year.....

They were hiding the scandal from the voters in the swing states of Florida, Virginia, Colorado, and Ohio............had this scandal been uncovered during the campaign, Obama would NOT have been elected.

Trendy seems to be saying that even though Wisconsin and America are Trending Obama, "The WSJ" is not!

Ok, I believe I now have a full grasp of Trendy's warped "Trending" conspiracy now!

No kidding? The President is in charge of the Executive Branch. What Departments fall under that branch?

Executive Departments
Department of Agriculture (USDA)
Department of Commerce (DOC)
Department of Defense (DOD)
Department of Education (ED)
Department of Energy (DOE)
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
Department of Justice (DOJ)
Department of Labor (DOL)
Department of State (DOS)
Department of the Interior (DOI)
Department of the Treasury
Department of Transportation (DOT)
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)

You don't have to like it, but Obama is at the top of the flowchart.

Ok CC, I think I understand your (twisted) logic now. If, in all of the fifteen or so departments listed above (which each have thousands of employees) there happens to be a problem, then Obama should be held solely accountable for that department's failure. However, if they are not experiencing a problem, I can't recall you ever having said that Obama should be given full credit for that department's success.

Thus, Obama should only be held solely accountable if there is a problem. On the other hand if the department(s) are meeting all of their goals, you do not believe Obama should be given any accolades for a job well done. You, along with COG, JD, Whirly, IIFFY, Cpt J, et al, seem to blend in quite well with your surroundings!

Thanks for sharing your twisted logic with us!

Carry on!!!!!!!
