Response to CT- Far cheaper to put a criminal in a cell for life than litigate the death penalty - the 20 - 30 years of state paid lawyer fees add up to millions of dollars paid by the State for all the death row inmates.

Never been a "Truly guilty" person in prison - Just ask the inmates.

I agree - we should abandon the death penalty!

the death penalty as currently applied I might agree with you

however I think there are some criminals that have earned the distinction of timely societal retribution and in a more perfect world a final penalty should be carried out swiftly

he gave back your silver dollar before he died? Odd thing to do. maybe he felt guilty what he did to you.

Turns out the guy was a covid positive wackjob that was sent to the old folks home to recover, not an employee. When will Whitmer be getting the manslaughter charge?

'Priss' Whitmer - "responsible" for something - How dare anyone throw that concept in her authoritative DPST face.

If Whitmire became VP then Sleepy Joe abdicated, I'll bet Whitmer would execute anyone who disagreed with her.

really? you post this even after I went on and on about how the Death Penalty as administered today is a failure?

these Folks should be executed within 6 months.. that saves all the legal money, AND acts as the deterrence it should.

if my plan is not workable, scrap it, and the Death Penalty.

but that Dude still deserves a public beating.

having a workable death penalty in a rule of law country with constitutional protections shouldn't be compared to the boogey man

Upon conviction in a fair trial, lashed in the public square from 100 strikes from a bamboo stick administered by his victim's family - absolutely.

However, I disagree on the amount of time allotted for execution. I realize it sometimes takes way too long but that is the price of justice.

You stated that you gave your father a silver dollar for safe keeping which he denied remembering receiving it from you. he gave you a paper dollar instead. then you state that before he died, he gave you your silver dollar...
