Anyone who has read my posts know that I am also a huge advocate of treating providers with respect, dignity, and courtesy (and to tip generously). At the same time, and as I have recently posted myself, the cost and "demands" of the providers in our area has gotten a fair bit out of control.


And even those providers who are of decent quality are asking me to drive into "the hood" to see them; ladies, as soon as you text me that you are in a high-crime area I discontinue the conversation. As I've said before, get an uber to a decent suburban hotel and you will recoup the costs with the extra appointments you will get in return.


I know, I am becoming more and more curmudgeonly, but I'm in the third trimester of life and have earned the right.
