Bad news

Hey guys I just wanted to let you know I will be out of commission for a while.. possibly anywhere from 4-12 weeks.. I have a knee fracture and am waiting to see an orthopedic surgeon (I might need surgery) so I will know a better timeframe after the weekend.

I will still be online to read the hilariousness that goes on here but as far as appointments go, I won't be able to take any for some time. I will definitely keep you guys updated

Just a word of advice, if the doctors try to talk you into taking cortisone shots and delaying surgery...DON'T.

I took the shots for a few years and then had surgery and I never fully recovered. If it's an option, do the surgery and get it out of the way then do the physical therapy will complete devotion

Savannah what if we promise to be gentle and not to go anywhere near your bad knee? Can we come play with you still then? Just kidding sexy. I can only imagine how much of a workout your knees get carrying around that gorgeous rack of yours so you better let it heal up right. Hope you get good news when the dr looks at it.

Good luck with the surgery and I wish you a speedy recovery. I have had 2 knee surgeries (football injuries) I'm doing fine so don't be scared.

One thing to keep abreast (no pun intended) of is your insurance benefits for physical therapy. Several years ago, had an orthopedic doctor recommend a month of intense PT but afterwards, had to have surgery anyway. After the surgery, the PT started back up again, only to find out I had exhausted my health care plan's yearly maximum payable for PT benefits.

Update- I'm healing pretty quickly & am back to seeing a select few clients weekly. I'm currently in Mobile for the time being but will probably be back in the Biloxi area within a month or so
