Lots of people are putting their hat into the ring. Bernie is far from my first choice, but I'd vote for a bucket of worms over Trump/Pence. Quite honestly, a bucket of worms would be smarter AND less slimy than Trump.

But continued good luck with your own personal delusions. The fact is most Americans and most people around the world think Trump is a pile of crap.

You do realize that if the dnc hadn't rigged the primaries Bernie would have won and would, in all probability, have beaten trump as well.

Much too early to tell. Maybe you saw on the national political board my post on where Trump stood in a June 2015 opinion poll of preferred Republican candidates -- 11th with 1% of the vote. Pretty obvious that Trump wouldn't be the Republican nominee. Right?

I wouldn't rule any of the contenders out at this point in time.

Here's a very early look at the 2020 electoral landscape, and I don't expect much to change before November 2020 election day.

Democrats have 232 electoral votes and Republicans have 220 in states that are Safe/Likely/Leaning one way or the other. Only 5 states are left -- Michigan (16), Wisconsin (10), Pennsylvania (20), Arizona (11), and Florida (29). The good news for Trump is that he won all 5 of those states in 2016. The bad news for Trump is that other than Florida the other 4 states voted solidly Democratic in the 2018 midterms.

So it's all setting up for a battle come November 2020. Trump is the incumbent and the favorite at this point in time.

But FWIW here is an article that points out Trump's re-election problems.
