Trump also continues to suggest that the electronic surveillance of his one-time campaign aide, Carter Page, which was authorized by the FISA warrant, launched the Russia probe.
Both of these assertions are false.
Here is why.




The Russia investigation wasn't launched because of Carter Page.

The so-called dossier formed only a smart part of the evidence used to meet the legal burden of establishing "probable cause" that Page was an agent of Russia.


Four different judges, all appointed by Republican presidents, signed off on electronic surveillance of Carter Page.

It was not improper — and perfectly normal — for the FBI to disclose information from the Steele dossier as part of the warrant application.

The FBI disclosed to the court that Steele was paid by people seeking to discredit Trump. But the FBI viewed Steele as credible.

The dossier to his day has NEVER been verified. Per Comey's own words. Thus false information was given to the FISA court. We won't hold our breath waiting for for lefties to understand this.

McCabe testified before Congress that they couldn't have got the FISA warrants without the dossier, and via circular evidence, the dossier was used twice -- TWO TIMES -- with each application, because the dossier was the source for the newspaper article that the FBI also used to convince the FISA judges to issue the warrants. And if that weren't enough, Comey and Schitty lied about when the FBI received the dossier to hide how central it was to the whole process.

The Steele dossier is a BS document bought and paid for by the hildebeest campaign, and it was never verified by the FBI because it's all bullshit and lies!

the NBC article makes claim that other evidence were provided but that contradicts the statements by those involved in the FISA warrant was an important part of the evidence (not a minor detail) to congress.
