"Scientists" living from grant to grant rather than leaving academia for real jobs, combined with wide eyed sensationalist "journalists" bent on "changing the world," is a sure recipe for depict.

I got curious about all the hubbub about "pseudo-estrogen" in plastics and did a little reading on line. Certainly, if you look at the structure of a pthalate or BPA and squint really hard, you can see that they somewhat resemble a small part of the estrogen molecule.

The real "tell" is that all of the studies blaming all these "evil" chemicals for things like decreased distance from anus to scrotum (yes, that's one of the claims), completely fail to mention one thing. That is the fact that these "defects" seemed to increase about the same time women of child baring age all over the industrialized world started deliberatly taking daily doses of chemicals specifically designed to mimic. . . estrogen.

Meanwhile, more "inconvenient truth" about the AGW scam (as opposed to a "hoax" which isn't engineered specifically to steal money from others).

You brought up the point yourself. Qui bono?
A person who is listed second as a co-author on the 4 papers they have released that allowed the release with her name on it when she knew it was wrong. As a professional researcher she goes right to the media that will print her gripe.

If the “irrefutable proof” is an increase of 1 degree centigrade in 60 years how can they say it stopped? A 60 year graph that shows a 1 degree increase will look pretty flat when you look at a 10 chunk. Are there other periods of similar rise and fall to the rate? It is a complicated field of study. The fact that she went to the Mail to complain about him seeking publicity is rich with irony. Others are covered by confidentiality agreements but she isn’t? The reason those agreements work is the penalties invoked.
Again, in this story told to the Mail instead of the Journal of Geophysical Research, Qui bono?
I know, democrats are all scumbags and well educated people are elitist scumbags, especially climatologists.
Also, you offer up the same logic that is not valid. You say these people can’t get real jobs when they are doing real jobs. Climate will be observed and studied much more closely. There will be more jobs. By your logic, because one person with motives you have no idea about says so, AGW is fake and we can just turn our backs on it.
Consider NASA. 60 years finding out ways a rocket or a subsystem can explode, fail at a critical moment, or kill it’s crew. OK. We found them all. Space travel is as safe as the bus.

dr. muller is misleading people about his position. he was for gw before he was against it. put it this way, he is a climate change skeptic pretender.

I was referencing Prof Curry, not Muller. I should have been more specific.

sir, you need to read a little better.

the article references both persons involved.

Dr. Curry is criticizing Dr. Muller over the data set.

Global warming is akin to believing in God.

If God is false then repenting costs you nothing. If God is true then repenting may jsut save your ass.

If Global warming is false, it costs you money. If global warming is true then Earth will decide to give Roaches the next go round on intelligent life.

But as Humans have evolved we have gotten more short sighted with each generation. What's in it for me has trumped what can I leave behind. Fuck it right? If Global warming kills us all, it wont effect me or my kids so why bother.. lets make some money and go to Disneyland instead.

/sarcasm off

Default this is not a drill-this is for real

Improper action based on flawed
or outright fabricated data is just
foolish. The fact that only a global
effort can save us is proof to me
they are full of crap and just seekinf
inhuman power over their fellow man.

The language used is very loaded.
A generation raised with ecosense
would have no hesitation in
exterminating large population
centers as fewer people is good for
the earth.

AGW is a ruse to loot the western democracies
to the point of collapse.
We willingly transfer entire industries
to turd world rat holes- gutting our
middle class. For what?
Nothing.
China and India will generate as much
as we stop and even more.

Wake up

No. It's more akin to a game of Three Card Monte. The dealer and his shills convince you can change your luck and your fortune by putting your money on the line. When the game is done, they walk away richer, and you're a poorer fool for believing and trusting them.

More fiction?

As for God, He has revealed His hand to me
many times. He is as everpresent as the
Sun and Moon. Pity that you evidently
are not believed in by Him either.
The loss is not His.
I will not tell you He loves you, I don't know
He may not care. Don't think the Dark Lord
is interested if upstairs isn't.
Sucks to be you.
An empty dying lonely universe....
That's make believe.

I love "science" published in "well known" non-scientific journals. That's always a winner for me, lol.
