I'm older enough (barely!) to remember the days before the Internet. The days when gentlemen opened the yellow pages and called an agency and asked for a lady to come visit him. At most he could request a certain look and he would get (at most) a brief description. Then the gentleman would hope for the best when he opened the door for the lady. This was just the way it was.

Obviously, nowadays, you gentlemen have the advantage of showcases, stat sheets, reviews, etc. and a bevy of other information. That said, I also know many of you "hobby" (btw, I hate that term, but I digress) because you are adventure seekers and risk takers. The thrill of the hunt. The excitement of unknown. The gamble...

So (you ask), what's my question. What's my point? Here it is...inquiring minds want to know.

What would it take to see a lady (from ECCIE) who had no photos online? Would it ever happen? Let's take screening issues off the table. You know that the lady is not LE (she's been vouched for by someone you trust).

What would it take to see a lady, sight unseen?

Assuming that the gals description, etc. is of interest, and exclusive of screening, but still repeating a well know phrase: A couple good referrals (which do not need to be reviews).

The sound of her voice. Give me five minutes on the phone with her. Can I ask her questions? Her tone, inflections, humor, the sound of her laugh as I fire some of my Cajun boy wit at her.

That would provide me with a decent profile.

Lol. -I'm old enough one my first p4p actually was sight unseen from the phone book!
She was amazing.

Another one was from the old bulletin board days and we sent messages back and forth. We laughed later because we agreed we probably would not have picked each other up in a bar , but our written exchanges created a connection. We were regular partners for a couple of years till she moved away.

Given your assumptions and assuming the referring person I trusted knew what I like from a session - I still go for it.

While there was a time that I also did the sight unseen thing. Only I never let it be at the hotel door. I would have them meet me at a bar/diner or the such. Going in we knew it was p4p but it kind of made it more like a blind date. If we didn't click I would give her a few bucks for her time, cab fare & a gentlemanly good night. Even back then I was a little picky about what I paid to put it in.

I have one pic on Eccie, that's all I have posted. My face isn't even showing. Gents have seen me without me posting more pics.

I think lots of gents see ladies sight unseen. Gents have advantage with Eccie Providers via reviews where a ladies look may be described. Plus, a lot of ladies pics aren't even close to being accurate and some gents know this and still take the risk. Backpage even more so than here. I think it takes the right circumstances and certain gents mindset to visit a lady sight unseen. For some it's the thrill of the unknown....

A lot of men don't care what your face looks like as long as you have a nice body, so it doesn't matter to them.

Back in the ASP days when you could still read the reviews, I was intrigued by what I was reading about a provider, Lexieinhouston. She had no Pics, and still has none on ECCIE, but her reviews were outstanding with not one single NO. I looked at her P-411 page where she verified her sextivities and I was hooked. So sight unseen and an old pic that she sent, which revealed nothing, and a few pm's I was hooked. Digressing, it was the many reviews and her voice on the phone that made me want to see her. I never regretted it, but to see someone else sight unseen, I would have to see the reviews on her then decide as I did with her. It's been a long time since I've seen her but that's a fault of my own......jm2c

I agree with cumalot. As long as she has good reviews and is verified with Preferred411. I have seen some that do not show face pictures and actually they have been my best experiences and the only two that I have repeated with.

I did the "sight unseen" call an agency out of the yellow pages thing many decades ago. Had one of the HOTTEST sessions I've ever experienced, including all the ladies I've seen from ECCIE thus far, she was a young, stacked and horney housewife who would come out to play via a yellow pages agency when her hubby was deployed by the military. Also had one of the WORST sessions from that too. Would I see someone without any pics? As the others have said, I'd first see if any other hobbyists whose opinions I respected had any word about her. If so and they recommended, yes I'd see her. Beyond that.. can't be sure. I was wilder and more reckless in my 30's than I am now.

Under the right circumstances I would probably do sight unseen with someone who has revealed herself to be extremely personable and interesting in her posts, someone who has given me good reason to think I would enjoy her company on an intellectual level. I do have a sense of adventure, despite some other post I have recently made on a related matter. Intellect attracts me in and of itself.
