Default China rejects North Korean shipment of coal, buys U.S. instead.

interesting... I think they said they were doing something with NK's coal shipments later this year. looks like they decided to move early.

china must be weighing the cost of NK antics.

It's bidness. Look at S. Korea GDP vs N. Korea. You just can't have an underperforming asset like that sitting around dedicated to nukes and hero worship.

They are getting crushed. For what? Even China (say like President Trump) has to figure it out.

Default trump gets china on the right side vis a vis n. korea

nothing happens in the Chinese press that isn't approved

and after trump met with xi late yesterday appeared in the Chinese press the following, which is a first in my memory and very doubtful would ever appear in the Obama years of disaster:

China Threatens To Bomb North Korea's Nuclear Facilities If It Crosses Beijing's "Bottom Line"

Trump has Jewish grandchildren, yet wouldn't let them sing one single Jewish folk song to Netanyahu. I stand by my statement.

I'm going to call you a moron Nazi Andy because I have to call them like I see them. In this case I harken back only some hours ago when President Trump (does that piss you off?) said of his meeting with the Chinese leader, "we'll see the results". Obviously, Trump put coal back on the front burner and convinced the Chinese that American coal is better than NK coal. Sounds like Trump got a twofer.

Secretary Scott Pruitt Visits Western PA Coal Country…

Quote:
You might have noticed that China halted coal imports from North Korea, specifically the type of coal used for making steel known as coking coal. The Chinese decision was made following a meeting between President Trump and President Xi Jingping in Florida.

[…] To make up for the shortfall from North Korea, China has ramped up imports from the United States in an unexpected boon for U.S. President Donald Trump, who has declared he wants to revive his country’s struggling coal sector.

Who's the moron here? One who fancies a few hundred thousand tons of coal per annum more than made up for perpetuating the hemorrhage of the U.S. manufacturing sectors of which Drumpf has repeatedly accused China and resolutely vowed to rectify by elevating Peter Navarro (the famous China Hater) to the WH. Where is Peter Navarro these days?

Still couldn't present anything concrete to refute my statement, Little Hans.
