I just think men get more confident in themselves because they have achieved more once they hit 40.

Maybe true for some men. Some of us are underachievers and f*ckups.

I needed to fix that for you Charles. This is the new D&T. Out with the negativity and in with the positive.

I have Becky's permission to jump on her trampoline.

TY. And in honor of Becky, I say, "wag more, bark less."

Well apart from the f*ckups, I am more attracted to middle aged men than any other age. All of my serious relationships are usually with blokes at least 10 years older than I. And sexually speaking, I find guys in their late 30's -40's to be the best lovers

I don't think any sane middle aged man. Or older man, has any "Hotness delusion."
.......OK there probably are. Sux man. It just does.
However. We are not dead yet. And we have money god dammit.

I see this happen all the time! Its so stupid
A good male friend of mine who is 43 thinks he is really hot and wants to go clubbing
all the time! Umm no.
He is kinda cute but I remember when I was in my 20's and seeing the creepy "old dudes" sitting at the bar in the club... ewww Im not going to be part of that

He does like to date women his own age but please, I dont want to go dancing - over 40 grinding on the dance floor...no one wants to see that. good looking or not

Don't hang up your dancing shoes yet. In Atlanta there is a club called Johnny's Hideaway, that has been packing them in seven days a week for 32 years. I would imagine the average age is 50. Even the mature crowd still likes to go out dancing every now and then.

But if Clooney came up to you and said "let's dance" you'd be okay with that? Maybe even grind with him?

There use to be a couple of clubs here in Houston many years ago, that were for the 35 and up crowd. I want to say one of the clubs was called Studebakers? These clubs were just as packed as the clubs for the barely 20 something kids.

Well there's a trip down memory lane. We had a Studebakers here too. Did the wait staff jump on the bar and dance?
