As far as the "Ignore" button goes.... I get it..... I understand why people do it..... I personally do not partake in it, nor am I a big fan of threads being closed for going sideways...... some of the best and most useful information can be learned from threads like that..... In addition, you NEVER know who you can learn something from on these boards..... whether learn what TO do or what NOT TO do...... Now you can always have a good idea a person is full of sh!t (DH, Boardman, ect....) and skim their posts or take with an extremely small grain of sand....... but to ignore someone to me just means you have no use for knowlegde in all forms...... Just like it mentions below my name.... there are information between lines everywhere..... the wise ones are the ones who seek it rather than try to filter it......

I agree with some of this, however I think it to be a bit presumptuous to think that if one puts someone on ignore they have "no use for knowledge in ALL forms"..(I can find my knowledge in a lot more places than on a hooker board.)....When I put someone on ignore, I don't feel I'm missing out on any knowledge, there are several people on here that I get into debates with quite a bit, I don't put those people on ignore because even though we may not have always agreed, I still respect their opinions, understand them and find them to be pretty intelligent.

My reasoning for putting someone on ignore is because I care not for them, nor do I care what they have to say...period, and I will add, I only put someone on ignore after they have track record of being rude and malicious for no reason, why would I want to subject myself to people who consistently stalk me (in a negative way) all over the boards? When I can simply put them in ignore and think nothing more of them and go on posting as usual, without drama....

The Ignore button is for emotional cripples...if you're taking an Internet message board so serious that you have to avoid seeing things people type just to keep yourself from getting upset, then you've got issues beyond what this board can solve...
