OK, I am watching CNN and the whole IMF chief mess. I know alot of you are hotel veterans just like I am for work. I know there have been times I thought about hitting up on the maid but decided not to. There were some that I thought gave me the "look". My friend, somehow, was able to convince one to give him a backrub during one of her visits.

My question: Do you think maids are offering more than just straightening the sheets in the rooms?

I always wondered if there was a code word or something like: "Can you look under the bed for the towels?". Or leaving an extra large tip...

Thoughts?

I honestly wouldn't suggest it. Look at it from this POV, maids don't make a lot of money to begin with. You make a proposition to her, she's offended, gets mad and now its sexual harassment and bingo......you're slapped with a SH charge and now facing a possible lawsuit. She's seeing dollar signs in her eyes. Now you have to explain to your SO (if you have one), kids and employer.

So, you have to ask yourself.....is a little strange from a maid worth it to you?

A friend of mine knew a girl who was a hotel maid when she first arrived in this country.After being made a few offers that she took them up on she became an escort.

My first thought was, "No guts. No glory.". But really, why don't you just try a hotel bar or just call someone up?

It seems rather slimy to hit on a hotel maid. They have enough on their minds. But if I was a guy, I would probably consider it.

But if I had a penis, no one would be safe from my attentions. I would be very aggressive, probably. Or that's my thoughts on it. So there you have it.

Probably not a great idea overall.

Well I am sure sex can be found in all sorts of places. But to look at a Hotel Maid as being a possible encounter, or that the members of this particular line of work as a whole are typically available for sexual encounters with guest is rather absurd. Any guest who has ever had a quick fling with a hotel maid first off he was able to attract her somehow. He didn't use any code word cause there isn't any and it was something she very possibley has never encountered before. Escorts are a sure thing no other women will be that easy. The only look she probably gave you was, " Geesh why don't you pick up your underware".

I think thats kinda mean, I mean that is a thank-less extremely hard job, and to approach them in their "safe-zone" at work is completely in-appropriate. They get dissed enough.

Years ago I stayed for a long stretch in the same hotel room and a girl I was seeing had stayed the night. I left for work and she slept in and left behind me. She wrote me a note and left it on the mirror. All it said was "Hey good lookin, hope you had a great day". No names on it. The maid who had been cleaning my room all that time thought that I had left the note for her and replied with " I hope you had a great day too" then her phone #. It took a little while to figure out who had written what.
The maid, unfortunately, was noone I wanted.
I wouldn't hit on a maid, or do any soliciting though. They have the key to your room and access to everything you have left in it. I doubt many maids play on the side.

I gotta admit, the hotel maid fantasy is near the top of my list. If the circumstances were right, who knows? I had an experience last week where I was checked into my favorite no-tell waiting for my date. She & I have a regular thing but she was running very late and it was starting to look like it might not happen. The housekeeper on my floor was fairly attractive (actually, above-average) and was cleaning rooms adjacent to mine. I stepped out to smoke on the balcony and the thought DID cross my mind...I mean, she works at a 'hot sheet' motel with high guest turnover and adult videos, so she knows whats up. She can see that I've been in my room with no company and she had also seen me out on the balcony smoking and talking on the phone. I seriously considered making the proposition. I have to admit that I have played with a few desk clerks but never the cleaning staff. Some of the opinions on their looks are dead on but there were a few that were not bad. And remember, we are not talking about assaulting a woman in the room. The fact that they are there makes it a tempting idea.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels. I've flirted with my share of desk clerks at 2 AM, almost had one interested enough to come up to the room after her shift.

I've always had the fantasy of the maid though coming into the room to clean as I'm sleeping in, seeing my erection as I'm stirring and standing and watching. I'd love for that one to happen.

I did know a maid who did occasionally sleep with the guests at a Ramada in South Carolina, met her and her husband at a hotel, later I found out it was the one she worked at (didn't know what she did before we met). Several years ago, while out of town on business, i was staying at an Embassy Suite in Charleston. After a few days, I got very familiar with one of the Maids. It started with a Good Morming, progressed to a little more conversation.

One morning, I returned to the room about midmorning, and she was there cleaning my room.

We chatted briefly, and before I knew it, we fell into each others arms, and onto the freshly made bed......

For the rest of my stay there, I relished her morning visits.

On a couple of occasions, I even met her at her house.

But when business was over in Charleston, I had to leave.
