Ha, funny advice coming from a married man flirting with the hobby. Not the point though (if there truly is one), anyway one of my jobs is in a small ER. One physician, three nurses, two techs and front office staff. Most times our patients are fairly benign, urgent care type stuff. Every once in a while though we get a curveball. Tonight was one of those nights. Guy comes in essentially with no serious symptoms and denies any pain. In the course of working him up we discover a massive, swollen infected scrotum. Oh yeah, that hurts he says. Turns out the cellulitis became gangrene which spread systemically and he was septic. He crashed and coded in our ER while we were waiting to transport him out for surgery and an ICU bed. After a lot of effort we finally stabilized him and I believe he will survive, but it was close. Was it really embarassment and shame of his genitals that brought it to this point? Why didnt he seek treatment sooner? Why not disclose his pissed off infected balls? I suppose I am venting a bit, and I do feel a little better. There is still a ton I keep to myself from the desert and know sometimes it eats me alive. I am working on that though and in the last couple of years I have made great progress. Not sure why I added that. Back to work for me. Oh yeah, would really enjoy social events. Even, cards, billards, live music or club meetings. I am fascinated by a bit of kink, perhaps I can find a local group. Then again, a lot of it seems too extreme for me. Ramble.

Mon dieu!! My nuts just retreated back in after reading that. How does one even get cellulitis of the nuts? On second thought I'd rather not know. Keep the twig & berries healthy fellas.

Yeah, he was a tough guy. However, as with most of them that didn't do a lot of good in the end (aaplying this to the broader spectrum of life and death). Of course, that jewel (how about that double entendre) from a oerson who often secretly thinks, "quit being such a pussy". Never satisfied I suppose, insatiable even. Haha, nice. The joke in the morning was to go home and have your spouse check your genitals, it could save your life. Wonder how long it had been since his wife had seen them? Anything like the cliched wife and it could have been awhile.
