Took me five damn years to meet Scarlett.
It was, however, well worth the wait (mine is one of several reviews of her in MS Independents). Still, take my advice, and meet her sooner rather than later.

Aw, put some effort in it. Surely you'll have some Nashvegas client in the country music industry who'll lend you his private LearJet for the evening, fly you down to Jax and back up to Nashvegas to continue your tour. Hell, if you can get him verified and an invite, he can be your "date", and meet some of the other lovely ladies too.

And if you're patient, a future M&G will be down in your neck of the woods. (They move about a bit.) When that happens, you can meet everyone in person then. And it'll be well worth it, from what I hear...

The suggestion was made, um, "elsewhere" (you know where to find it if you want; that hint goes to you too, JAG) that a M&G should be held at a state park or similar, in an area where there could be a cookout, grilling, etc.
Now, bcg lives in an apartment complex where he's forbidden to have a grill (at least forbidden one of the charcoal or gas-fired variety, outside), and he's developing a serious jones for some nicely char-or-gas grilled slabs of dead pig and dead cow. Find a venue like that close enough to Memphis to count, and on a day (probably weekend) where that "get to that job the next day" thing isn't an issue, and there's a most excellent chance that bcg's gluttonous instincts would outvote his avoidant personality disorder...
Just sayin'.

Important info about the M&G:
If you want to attend but aren't sure if I know you or not, please have a well known member vouch for you. If we've met before but you aren't sure that I know you, please remind me who you are. There are several of you whose face I know, but I don't know your online name.
Ladies, I think I know those of you who are active on this board; the ones I don't, you know who you are.
This is a get together of adults who share similar interests and NO illegal activity is to be conducted. It will be held in a public place (I'm still scouting). Dress is business casual/ casual. Keep in mind that you are making an impression on those you are meeting. I know how hard it is for you sexy ladies, but keep it down to a low roar for clothing. (If I had it my way, you'd all be naked - yum!) We don't want to call unnecessary attention to ourselves.
