Play the video and pause it at the point you want to take a still from it. Press PRINT SCREEN or ALT+PRINT SCREEN, depending on whether the video is playing full screen or in an active window.

You can paste your screen capture into Paint, which is a drawing program you can use to crop, rotate, and resize pictures.

open it with windows live movie maker. once you open the video it will take a min or two to load then you can forward to the part you want and capture it. lol you can also do slow motion stuff as well.
