We already were doing that in this country.

Guess who paid for that expensive medical care?

The taxpayers.

In fact , many people who could afford it realized this fact and did not get insurance ... that was basically the fix Obamacare tried to close.

Look....they need to fix Obamacare now. Not all states took the Medicaid expansion and many other problems....but that is wtf congress is for. Trump said he would replace it with something better and folks believed him and voted for him. That will cost him , if he runs in 2020.

Ok here is a fact.

Fact 1: I've been a working adult and living in this city for about 25 years.

For the first 20 years, I had about 5 doctors total including respective specialists.

In the last ~5 years under obamacare, I've had damn near 20 doctors...none of which were from the first 20 years. In most cases, I couldn't keep the same doctor two years in a row.

Fact 2: "....you can keep your doctor" was a big fucking lie and scam.

Fact #3 is incorrect. This particular Obamacare plan is accepted. This is from your link. Also from your link, there are SOME Employer group insurance plans that are OUT of Network for this hospital. Go back and read your link.

This is from YOUR link:

Market Place Plans Accepted
(Individual plans through www.Healthcare.gov)

Plan Year 2017
Community Health Choice HMO Copay

Please confirm network participation directly with your health plan. Some Employer Group Plans may exclude Texas Children’s Hospital from their network.

Providers* contract with carriers, and not all carriers will contract with a provider, because the provider will not agree to the benefits the carrier will pay.

Additionally some providers* will accept medicare, but they will not accept "advantage" supplements to medicare. They accept plain Medicare, like M.D. Anderson, because they are a research facility and agree to accept Medicare because they accept Federal grants.

So one has to shop and ask. But that was the case before "ObaminableCare" regulations were forced upon the U.S. public.
