"A problem" with the reality of the specific situation in the "Moore" matter is elected officials, e.g. state legislators, would more than likely be reluctant to vote FOR Moore to avoid the "taint" by accusation and innuendo that they were "in favor" of pedophilia based upon unproven allegations rather than determining his qualifications to represent the voters directly ... and a second "issue" is the selection of a person by the legislature would have a tendency to maintain an "inner circle" of politicians with a "strangle hold" on elected positions (more than likely a "Senator" would be selected from the rank-n-file of the politicians in the state legislature.

Currently there are a lot of folks who don't like the "Electoral College," but want a direct popular vote of the POTUS.

Would states then have the "right" to establish their own "qualifications" for a U.S. Senator? Or would it be "custom" and an "unspoken, unwritten" standard.

the people know that the left wants to tear down the constitution and make America into just some place no better than any other place, not ruled by laws nor an inheritance for their children

True, in Moores case you have 40 year old claims, that the bulk of the evidence has been proven false. Frankly some of it was laughable and the Bar should be having a talk with Allred about manufacturing evidence..

In Frankens case, he admits guilt and there is photographic evidence that Franken himself does not dispute.

Interesting how the left called for Moore to drop out of the race, or be removed from office if he wins with no due process whatsoever, only trial by the MSM.
