Hope you guys can help me! I've been touring for about 3 months and I'm getting a cold case of Cabin Fever! I gotta GTFO of a room for awhile. I would like to work at a strip club here in New Orleans for a few nights here and there. I was a skrippuh for 10 years before I moved into full-time whoredom. Who knew...Money IS a gateway drug!

SO, here's the sitch:

I'm that black girl that was so endearingly referred to as an OREO growing up (or a Yankee from my island kindreds--equally annoying). However, my body type, skin color, and fat ass seems to say to strip club managers "I'm gonna twerk this ass all night and then rob everybody!!" I can't twerk for shit and I definitely don't steal. I became a vet and was "grandfathered" into the predominantly white club I worked at almost my whole career (meaning when they did their bi-monthly sweeps to bring the color quotas back down, I had immunity from the chopping block) and ever since I left town I can't seem to find another that will give me a chance.

Where 'O Where can an educated black girl go to play with some freaknasty upscale(enough) gentlemen who love to tip in the champagne room?! It does need to be a club that turns the other cheek on "extras". Once an Extras Girl always an Extras Girl

The Penthouses and Hustler clubs of the world are usually very sparing on black women. Especially darker skinned black women. They tend to barely hire white women who have tattoos. Have you seen women like me there? (real question--not being sarcastic).

I know Penthouse very well and yes, they most definitely do have a few classy, beautiful black women there- I would recommend you at least trying there for sure.

Thanks for all the recommendations everyone! I was able to get out and about on Bourbon and visit some of the clubs as a patron and, needless to say, I remembered why I stopped dancing. I sure don't miss pulling all those teeth!! LOL

I went back to dancing at Diamonds when I go through mobile and I can say the same thing!!!! I forgot just how hard those guys hold onto a dollar bill!!
