this country needs practical large scale ways to generate power clean as far as the emissions are concerned. short term there isn't a better way than nuclear power. France, Japan and Germany have most of their power there. And they are fools to try to replace them with solar or wind.
if you want cleaner air at the least, then this is your short term solution. unless you want to plaster half of both Africa and Australia to generate and feed a Solar/Wind World Grid.
