Default Incall Preference: House or Apartment?

Do gentlemen feel more comfortable walking up to the door of a house or into an apartment complex? Want my clients to feel comfortable, but still want to be inconspicuous...Thoughts?

I don't know about "gentlemen", but I prefer hotels for incalls. Alot of activity so no one really is paying attention of whats going on. As long as the hotel doesn't require a key card, which can be troublesome to get to upper floors.

I love the fact that my incall and my home are different spaces. It really helps to completely separate your personal and hobby life.

Apartments can be more discreet because you have multiple people living in the same building so there is naturally more traffic. As a general rule if HOAs are involved your neighbors will be much more nosey. However on the flip side a paranoid hobbyist could get freaked out by the landscapers, maintenance, leasing agents, dog walkers, etc. in your complex.

Some hobbyists can be put off by areas they might consider unsafe. Many will not go to apartments at night that they would have.by day.
I have also met ladies at their actual homes and only because the kids were in school or away because of spring break that the place was available. Although I’m sure some hobbyists feel a little weirded out banging someones mom when the kids room is just down the hall, not that the kids are there too.
I do get concerned for them about neighbors but usually it’s one or two visits a week which really doesn’t arouse too much suspicion.
However, as for getting freaked out by maintenance crews, I do feel that some lawn maintenance crews have the advantage of checking out neighborhoods for vacant houses or any other opportunities regarding people traffic in and out the neighborhood and come back later to break into homes or steal from the yard.
There was one instance where I was jogging not far from a public park and saw a car was definitely out of place. It had very dark windows and about five different antennas on its hood. Someone was definitely under surveillance.

Thank you for both responses...I'm moving soon and trying to decide between staying in an apartment or renting a house. Want everyone to feel comfortable when they come for an appointment.

House or Apartment : Whichever it is, I prefer that it is not where the provider actually lives.

Doesn't matter greatly to me; I prefer either one over a hotel, which seems like the pinnacle of impersonality. I have seen a couple of ladies in their own actual residences (both were houses, as it happens) and I really like that; the place where a woman lives is really her own space, and her "signature" is everywhere -- the decorations, colors, books on the shelves and so on. You feel like you're getting to know her a little better. I suppose that, for that very reason, many working ladies would rather not receive clients in their personal residences, and that's easy to understand, too.

I would suggest house since there is less space between the walls especially if you are both loud in your activities. Only prob about either is if you have a noisy neighbor that likes to pry can make it difficult.

I prefer a house over an apartment, and a hotel the least. Although nosey neighbors or HOA could be an issue, I'm always circling a hotel parking lot looking for LEO, and I'm always waiting for a hotel employee to "assist me" when I walk in the front to lobby and look for the elevator. I don't have a hotel key, and I don't really know who I'm going to see, if I'm ever asked.

Much less potential for trouble at a private residence... House over Apartment just because of thin walls and or ceilings...

I prefer hotels probably because whether I am alone or with my husband we never feel conspicuous or awkward that we may stand out...you know that paranoia that hobbyists feel when they are heading to an incall in an area that they are unfamiliar with. At private homes or apartments I am more aware of neighbors staring and also sometimes parking can be a nightmare.

No matter what type of incall you have (hotel, house, apartment, car, the back of an Army-Navy surplus store) some clients will like it and some won't.

For privacy and discretion, if you're torn between a single-family-home and an apartment: I'd say apartment. But in a larger building, not just a 3-flat.
In a very small building, having frequent guests can definitely stand out.

Trust me on that one. ;-)

+1 A house may offer easier parking and a little more of a sound barrier than an apartment, but it's also a lot more conspicuous ehen the neighbors see all the comings and goings... And keeping your home and work separate really are important for your own safety and sanity.

I had a gent that felt more comfy in his own home. I normally won't go to residences unless I know the gentleman fairly well and know he is not married. As for hotels, I prefer upscale, but now I'm beginning to wonder:

Colorado Hotel Peeper

I had a peeper once when I was a teen. Walked right up to our house in a nice neighborhood and was peeping through the part in the curtains. That really shook me up, not cool. Maybe why I like my place. Safe and nice neighborhood, quiet, two entrances to greet guests, no peepers and no paranoia about hidden cameras at a gent's residence for his private or even shared viewing pleasure later. Not that all gents who prefer a lady come to his home would consider such as this. Just better to be safe than sorry, unless a lady is not bothered with it.
