House Speaker John Boehner has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak before a joint session of Congress next month on “the grave threats radical Islam and Iran,” prompting a rebuke from the White House over a “breach of protocol.”


White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that usually leaders inform the White House before planning a trip to the U.S. He said the administration will decide a course of action after speaking with the Israelis about what Netanyahu will say in his address, the Associated Press reported.

In other words, Obama is trying to censor what Netanyahu can/can't say before Congress. Why do I think Obama is really upset that Netanyahu is coming to America to trash his negotiations with Iran, telling the truth about Iran to America and the world. But then, most thinking Americans already know Obama is lying to us about most things, domestic and foreign !

Yeah, that's great. Netanyahu coming over to tell us that we need to continue to carry Israel's water.

And, what "truth" do you think it is that he is going to be bowling us and the rest of the world over with? Netanyahu is going to be pushing the same agenda he always pushes....American blood and treasure being expended in return for Israel's security.

It's time for us to let Netanyahu know who is running the fucking show....we are....he and his country exist for one reason....because of us. He needs to shut the fuck up and do what we tell him and his country to do, when we tell him to do it.....and be happy about it. Or find some other mentor that guarantees Israel's security.

Yes, I would actually. A lot more than John Boner's. Or Mitt Romney, or Jeb Bush. A nuclear armed Iran threatens Israel a lot more than it does us, which is why Netanyahoo wants a war with them so badly (especially one where the US fights it). Boehner will have him come and speak because he knows Obama won't like it, so it's just for political fun. Great way to show unity. The Iranians must be very happy indeed.

I have no problem with Netanyahu visiting and addressing congress. I deeply disagree with his decision to take Boehner's invitation and totally bypass POTUS. You squeakers would probably love that, but Boehner is trying to precipitate some real bullshit here shitting all over international protocol.

Israel will not be punished for this breach in custom. Boehner will.
