I know facts are pretty unpopular around here . . . this isn't a filibuster. A filibuster is designed to delay or stop a vote on potential legislation (see Wendy Davis for a perfect example).

This is just a sideshow intended to keep Raphael in lockstep with his narrow constituency --- in spite of the fact that he has absolutely nothing in common with them.

I am against filibusters in any way, shape, or form, independent of who does it. Just delays the inevitable. Democrats in Texas need someone to look up to and promote for a statewide election. This is an almost totally red state and the Dems are pinning their hopes on her.
