I see that JohhnyG is continuing to exhibit his inexperience with Hobby related matters.

Johnny... this is a very "intimately human " exchange between males and females.... one side seeking strange sex... and the other side seeking compensation for the same, in terms of money! * This is not rocket science!

It's a match made in Sex Heaven!! * Why try to fuck it up? * We should all be thrilled that our mutual opportunity exists!!

You are extremely naive to think the legal / regulated price of the legal sex trade would be lower than the rates you are bitching about now!! * Ain't no fucking way!!

Be careful , what you ask for!!

All I want to see is "de-criminalization" !!

Forgive me for expressing a theory! I wasn't bitching about rates. I was merely pointing out that economists believe the legalization of vices, like prostitution and drugs, would make them cheaper, more readily available, higher quality, and safer.

Forgive me for being educated and expressing myself. By the way, how is that demonstrating naivete, MrGiz?

Funny, SL. It seems we've run into the same problem again. You come up with interesting threads, and I contribute what I, and others, feel are interesting posts. Yet some rude neanderthal has to insult me. Like I told MrGiz, I'll just have to stick to chat and pm's.

Default If Anybody Agrees with The Theory I set forth...

I still feel my thoughts on legalization and its affect on price possess a great deal of merit. If anybody agrees, or is in possession of scientific evidence that corroborates what I wrote, please come forward.

JohnnyG.... we simply disagree on principle.... that's all! * Sorry if you are insulted by that... but this is how "discussion forums " are conducted!

Your theory is no better than mine.... mine is no better than yours.... this has been discussed; ad nauseum, in countless other similar threads!

Any type of "legaliization " would involve "Government Regulation".... when has that made anything cheaper?

Rates are set by providers.... they are either agreed to... or not, by us horny dawgs.... it's as simple as that!!

If you consider it "rude" or "Neanderthal" to disagree on theory on an open discussion forum.... you have a looooooong stressful life ahead of you!!

Right. Like debating people on this board is stressful. Government regulation would add to a provider's cost basis. Those costs would be transferred to the clients. However, the base rate, in theory, would decrease. It would especially decrease if more providers entered the business. Plus, if more providers have to compete for the same dollars they would go the extra mile. So, before you know it, GFE would become the norm, then PSE.....Catch my drift. Did anybody on this board study economics in school?

I understand your concerns. The government should not regulate price. The price mechanism should be determined by the market and monitored by the government.

However, if the hobby were legalized, and subsequently regulated, it would be good for all. For example, say the government mandated all providers receive mandatory tests. This would increase the number of tests demanded, thereby decreasing the price for a test. There could be abuses. By that is why our government monitors price, monopoly, etc.

Also, it would increase the demand for the apparatus used to perform the test, decreasing the price as well.

Why are you so down on the government?

Right. Don't acknowledge the bulk of what I wrote. Just focus on the last line. Laugh it up, simpleton. Tell me what you think about what I wrote. Forget about your grievances with our government.

Okay.... please.... simply point to an example of where Government Regulation has made anything cheaper?
.... and please include all "hidden" costs to society!

I never said the government would guarantee the hobby would be cheaper. The free market would make the hobby cheaper if it were made legal through legislative action.

It's not government's job to make goods or services necessarily cheaper. They serve an important function by making our lives safer and by ensuring we are all well protected and safe. I'm not saying the government is perfect, but without laws, agency rules, and the body of common law, our lives would be a dangerous, unpredictable mess.

I wish you would discuss these matters with me. I think it is important. Perhaps this isn't the appropriate place. Is there an area of the site where we can discuss these matters?

Attention Moderators: Sorry this thread got off track. We were in the heat of a pretty good debate. It won't happen again.
