Who cares? He was a fucking human being.

He may have been the Bernie Sanders of ASPD, but, that doesn't mean you can't have respect for someone whose views are a total opposite of yours, and stands up for them, even though in the end, its that which led to his death.

And you missed my point entirely, which, isn't surprising, that people often have different personalities in real life, without their "Internet muscles" on.

Who cares? What a sad and cold comment.

It wasn’t his political views. I knew a lot of people Steve said he knew. But he could be vile and say untrue things about those people. He also said my wife should die on Indy’s. Yeah, he was a human being. A fucked up one. It was Steve who was intolerant of other people’s views. I guess his mouth and actions led to his demise. I don’t feel any sorrow for him. None

Two women in Utica if they were having a bad week, one would text me and offerded a special if she needed money for something. The other emailed me and gave me a sizable discount per hour because she enjoyed being with me. Especially when it was Saturday morning sex before she baby sit for her neighbor and had her time with her daughter in the afternoon and Sunday. I miss those days knowing i was the one who the babysitter got naughty with before the children came. I now wish I told her i would have given up the hobby for her if she was also ready to give it up as well.

But i also had someone ask me for money at the wrong time in my life. I wasn't ready to start a cash and prepaid relationship. I wasn't ready to take a sugar daddy step of starting to pay a bill here or there.

Steve's personal views were NOT his downfall although he did have some strong opinions.
He simply trusted the wrong person to hang out with.
Nothing more.
May he RIP, he was a good friend in spite of the fact that he and I were political opposites.

Reviews are what they are. Some folks use them to advertise their own sexual prowess while others give accurate and true accounts.
I don't care one way or another which I always assumed led to my lack of them, I rarely asked for one after the first year.
Do they help?

Yes, they do. They give EVERYONE a good place to research others in the hobby.
Guys get an idea of what a gal is like and gals can see who is or isn't a gentleman when it comes to comments.

And if anyone thinks the ROS stays private I've got a bridge I wanna sell you.

And its not the boards that are toxic.
The toxicity is in some of the people in this thing of ours and the inability to ignore haters.
Male or female.

I've never gotten a no review or a bad one. I still had long periods of time where I asked not to have them. Either I was more UTR or as a Domme/sub. My main reason for not really wanting reviews as a Pro Dominatrix is because I don't want people expecting to just walk in and get the same experience the reviewer got. Bdsm is extremely ymmv! I don't care how advanced someone is or thinks they are, I start in a more sensual teasing way until we have rapport built. That's as a Pro Domme and Pro Sub. Trust and comfort play big roles in how any date goes.
I believe the old saying "If you don't click on a date, it's half of each party's fault."

His politics had nothing to do with my disdain for him. Zero. I won’t eloborate further. I have my reasons that are based in fact.

You know, it's interesting.

Most places I've traveled and dabbled in the US look like Pgh from a hobby standpoint right now, save that Pgh had Indys, doesn't have it anymore, and the local scene has to sort itself out. It eventually will--commerce tends to work that way.

However, I think some of the stereotypes are only "funny" (or biting) because they are true. On my personal rolodex, there's probably 4-6 providers in Pgh who I know are relatively habit free (relatively accounts for well known and legal in some places herbal remedies, which I consider a nonfactor if it doesn't negatively impact performance) and who probably bat 80% or better being on time (=/-10 mins). That is out of a fairly large sample set. Of those, a whopping 1 is under the age of 30.

However, I can probably pull 10-12 examples of "hood rat," "habit rat," "doesn't own a functioning watch," "doesn't own an actual home," "needs a tip for newports," or "needs a tip to keep netflix on" just by a quick trip through the indys ads, the ads here, twitter, switter, et al.

Had the opportunity in Europe again to waltz into legal spots and have my needs taken care of, with skill and enthusiasm, by providers who are a solid RL9 or 10. Knowing who was working by looking at an updated site before heading out. Net-net--it's the fucking legal barriers to entry that cause this. The hobby in places where it is legal is so low friction it boggles the mind.

All that said, I don't believe this thread is provider "bashing." I'd observe that post-FOSTA, there have been plenty of shitty things done in the hobby (rates raised to "account" for it, lowball offers due to lack of business in response, etc) by some on both sides. It will eventually find equilibrium again.
