You first have to subscribe to a thread before any notifications are sent out about new posts.You do that by making a post on a thread, or at the upper right hand corner of a thread, click on "Thread Tool" and click "Subscribe to this thread" in the drop down box, then click submit.
If you just want to change your email, look the left side of the screen for "user cp' click it, go to "Edit Email & password" click it, enter new email addy in the box, click the submit button and it is done. You will need to be sure to follow the link in the email you will receive and enter the generated password when you log back in.
