Default Did Apple die?

Along with Steve Jobs. I think so. I have sold off every piece of Apple equipment and gone back to android and windows products.
I'm kinda disappointed but okay with it at the same time.
Point is I don't think Apple is not what it use to be when Jobs was a live. Discuss.

The product visionary is gone. The current CEO literally thinks being gay is his biggest asset. However, a generation has grown up addicted to Apple's products and "theme" so they'll be able to coast for a while.

as a long suffering but still profitable shareholder in qualcomm,

which company has been having an epic worldwide battle with apple over charges for its ip,

involving government agencies in europe, asia and the united states in addition to embroiling other companies,

on the details of which I have stayed abreast,

the thought crossed my mind that one ancillary motivation in apple's announcement this week was to curry administration favor in its qualcomm feud

that I don't doubt

with regard to apple, its generally very rare for a company to stay true to the founder's vision and be successful.

apple will be successful for a few more years, the one to watch for is the next CEO after Cook. Apple fortunes eventually will go down at that point.

Way gone. I think they are too much like Samsung now.
Apple is just not special any longer.

Any time the government has their hand is something it usually turns to shit.

I have too much money invested in Apple products to move back to a windows based system. And too lazy to learn that shit again. My Apple products still work pretty well. Except for my laptop. That fucker has to ten years old. Needs replaced.

I agree. It seems every time a new product is sold, those addicts are in line at the Apple store to get their fix..

Oh keep your stuff!

I've got my first PC from IBM circa 1984 ... I waited six months to replace on of the floppy drives with a 10 meg hard drive ... so I could be the "cat's ass" in the computer group! With a color/graphics card and color monitor that looked like a HillariousDidntWinColoring book at its best .... and a 1st generation "lazer" printer ... by 1985-6 I had five grand in 1980 dollars soaked into it ... then UPGRADED to a whopping 20 meg drive!

I didn't get my first computer until 1996, lol. I was married at the time. One evening my wife came home with a Packard Bell Computer. We had a good time setting it up. The next night we enrolled in AOL Internet service. We surfed the net until probably 2 or 3 am. We had a good time. I think I even got laid that night, lol.

Growing up my father had a couple of typewriters. He had a conventional one and then later on when I was in High School he got an electric one that even had a correct ribbon on it. Slide Rules were around but I grew up in the beginning of the calculator era.
