Considering my past activity on ECCIE, the encounters I've written, and all of my posts, what kind of screening would you require of me?

Well I'd read your reviews to see if you and I are compatible . because i will not see clients like dirty who degrade women for fun! Then we choose a screening that we would we both be comfortable with. And hopefully have a blast. If you don't like screening you should keep a good reference handy !

I agree with Summer. I would definitely look through your post history to get a feel for your personality. Any posts degrading women, showing lack of respect for providers and their safety, and I would have to pass.

And naturally, if you don’t want to disclose personal information, you will need solid references. Established providers with at least a year of positive review history and good reputations. The ladies that Dirty has reviewed do not meet my criteria.

I’m very selective with whom I decide to meet.

I happened on this thread by accident. And I’m going to have to side with the ladies on this one. I have sent a selfie to a couple of women that asked for one. This is not thrift store shopping for dates. Ginger and Summer are top shelf.

I am a DILIGENT screener and In all of my days I have NEVER asked for as picture as it proves NOTHING in the way of my safety.

As I had began to develop my persona and reputation in the industry, I came in to a more or less routine of questions and checks I'd do.

And then my ex husband, his gf, and my new man's ex wife AND his baby mama all decided to become besties all of a sudden over this last summer. They sent screenshots of my ads on her to the caseworker (she didn't care. She showed me and told me to watch my back for a smear campaign during my divorce.) I went 100% off the grid!

I say this to say a threat, real or perceived, can come from ANYWHERE!

Yes, exactly! And I do! At least 20 reviews by established members on a reputable site, or I’ll need personal/work info. If a gentleman thinks that my safety isn’t important enough to warrant that kind of info, then he’s not someone I’d want to meet anyway.

Plus when providers protect themselves, they are also protecting their clients. Safe hobbying benefits everyone!

FWIW....I don't get what the selfie actually accomplishes in the way of "screening," other than a reference to be sure the guy you've been talking to is the guy that shows up at the door the first time. Unless I'm missing something, at least....

But that having been said - as a client, I'm not ALWAYS going to be comfortable sharing that, either. Now - for a well-established provider....someone that is well-reviewed, established in the industry, etc., I probably don't mind. Yes - "danger can come from anywhere" as Makayla says - but when a lady has been around for a few years and there's no "chatter" about problems/drama, then it's probably a safe enough bet that I would send the selfie. On the other hand - if it's a new girl....or ESPECIALLY a girl known on the boards for her "drama"...or maybe even if I've just been burned by one of these kind of girls in the past - I'm PROBABLY NOT going to send the picture. That's because I have security/privacy/discretion needs too.

And I don't have to apologize for having, or asserting those needs....but I also don't have to be a dick about HOW I assert those needs. Sometimes though, that requires taking a beat before responding, as well....because even if you're just trying to be "honest," or "direct," if you're also still in an "irritated" mood, it will often show - and even when you're not TRYING to be a dick about discussing/questioning the issue at hand - the ladies may mistake you as being one.

Ultimately though - it's a judgement call - and if everyone acts professionally - or really, just like adults, then nobody has to get upset over it. You either talk through the issues and you work it out - or you talk long enough to find out that you CAN'T come to an agreement, and both sides move on.

Certainly - that will be a little frustrating in the moment if/when it happens - but no reason for ANYONE to get their feathers ruffled over it. It's not personal to YOU - ladies - if the guy doesn't want to share info. And guys - "effective" or not - what they want in screening is what they want to feel comfortable. If you can/are willing to offer it - great....if you can't - then move on and if you still want to try again later when you CAN pass their screening another way, that may be an option.
