From the article ...

Quote:
"...........after a bad weather call grounded Marine One.

He and first lady Melania Trump had planned to visit the memorial for American marines near the Belleau Wood battlefield on Saturday afternoon, however their program was nixed at the last minute due to a storm that would have prevented them from helicoptering to the site that's more than an hour's drive from Paris.
Who ever wrote the headline for the article and whoever trashed Trump as reported in the article is .... having intellectual integrity issues .... and these kinds of articles are fair game for Trump to criticize however he elects to draw attention to them.

Yet his Chief of Staff could make it.

The Canadian PM could make it.

It was a 50 minute car ride for Gods sake...

Yet Trump couldn't bother.

No wonder the military Vets are fed up with this draft dodging President.

This is a good example of fake news.

The president is always, 24 hours a day, under high security scrutiny. He does not make the decision as to when it is safe to be somewhere, or not.

If the Secret Service determines that it is unsafe to fly, he will not fly.

Yes, it is only a one hour drive. But, that is one hour when security concerns cannot be addressed. Are you going to shut down that Hyway for that time.

It is disingenuous for a news outlet to characterize the circumstances as they have.

Lol....now that is some serious spin.

Nowhere did it report that SS made the decision that he could not go.

All that was reported was that the helicopter could not go.

Trump is where the buck stops and he was the one who decided that he couldn't be bothered with the rain.

Plus...Trump remember Trump likes soldiers that survived and won, not those captured or killed.

See Jackie, eventually even you will have to admit that Trumps lies are the problem. His lies about anything negative but factual being fake, is the problem.

Bottom line, Trump wasn't there...you blaming that on the SS is shameful

Fuck man, he has gone to plenty of such ceremonies - the liberals are just desperate to try and pins some shit on him.

Trump has always consistently honored fallen soldiers.

Of course the Article did not mention the security issue and who makes these decisions. It does not fit their narrative..

Fake news at it's best.

The buck stops with the President.

His Chief of Staff had no trouble making it. The Canadian PM had no trouble making it.

Trump thought John McCain a loser for getting captured. ..not a stretch to think he thinks the dead soldiers losers for getting killed.

I mean what loser isn't smart enough to fake a bad heel to get out of military service like Trump did?

Do you know one single Marine that would not be honored to hold an umbrella so their CIC could continue reading his speach? Name one, just one.

So not only was your video not about Trump , it actually shows why Trump should have gotten his ass out in the rain to honor these fallen soldiers.

Since your side whined and cried when President Trump wanted a parade and ceremony to honor the end of WW1 and the sacrifices of those soldiers, your hypocrisy here would be funny if it weren't so predictable. Save your phony outrage, it's getting old.

Off topic Lantern but I'll play along and also get it back on topic.

Trump wanted a big parade to honor himself.

Trump didn't want to waste his time today getting wet while honoring those that served. Also I'm not outraged or even shocked, Trumps true character will eventually rise for all to see. Some of us already have seen through this phoney charlatan

Not off topic. YOU brought up a ceremony honoring the end of WW1. That is what Trump wanted here that you cried and whined about. A discerning person would understand that when you cry about a proposed ceremony here, then cry that he wasn't at one in a foreign country you look like a hypocrite. By the way, if the Secret Service says no go, it's no go. Period.
