Why Don't Providers Answer Their Phones?

but fact of the matter is sometimes your the 7th or 8th choice in a list of 20 and your the first to answer. he's not really looking for a candlelit dinner and the opera in 2 weeks from wed but instead just wants to get laid before his hardon goes away or before he jacks off and goes to sleep. if you answer i have 100 special he may be on his way and if its 300 for the hour he may be dialing the next on the list. not every call is from this selfish prick nor is every call from prince charming. if you post your number in public to offer sex for money expect some of the calls you get wont be from brad pitt and perhaps the gentleman may have indulged in a beverage or 2 and really wants nothing more than to get laid in the next 20 minutes. accepting that you will not be dissapointed and you can alaways deline any invition you deem unacceptable it is your choice

I prefer texts just because they are more discreet if I have other people around me. However this proves to be troublesome because for some this is the way the convo goes:

Hobbiest: "Hey."
Me: "Hello! Are you looking for Jessie?"
Hobbiest: "Yes, how are you?"
Me: "great! would you like to set up an appointment?"
Hobbiest: "maybe, what are your rates?"
Me: "please check my website."
Hobbiest: "I don't know how to do that."
Me: "ummm...how did you find me then?"

Drives me nuts! State your name, what you are looking for and when. This is too much conversation and I'm not going to do the work for you. Guys need to TCB also.

I have 2 or 3 ladies in my rotation. I usually give the an hour or two to call back. Life happens and rarely have I not been called back. Sometimes they want to see who calls and since my faves know I treat them with respect they always put in a quick call back.

My number is voice mail only. You can call a million times, you'll never reach me live on it. It receives messages (like emails do) and I respond when I have time...(like I do with my email).

From my personal experience, I find that it is becoming more and more common for people not to answer their phone.

In the dark days before caller ID, people had to answer the phone because that was the only way of knowing who was calling, but now everyone glances at who's calling and mentally determine what they want.

. . . For better success, I have found that you cannot be in a hurry if you want to talk to a girl. Most times, you need to warm her up by email or text messages. Some people can drag out a conversation for hours if you let them and it's better sometimes to not even open the door!

Well, considering I state very clearly in ads and on my website NO CALLS AFTER MIDNIGHT - no, I am surprised, but I am annoyed by the illiterate 3 am drunk dialers.

And who are you calling 40 something? We just went through this on the KC board. I am 39 years old, verified by showing my driver's license. I have 10 months to go before I embrace my 40's, and yes by God I will do it kicking and screaming. Ask Still Looking

The quickie special is targeted to many of my clients who do not have time for a longer session when they sneak off on a lunch break. It meets their needs and I have no problem being flexible enough to cater to their preferences.
