Explain, please???

I just performed a search, and at the bottom was asked if I also wanted to search in the "Child Forum". This requires some explanation before I take one more step on this web site. I am sure there is a logical explanation, but I need to hear it, please.

There is the parent forum, for instance the "Dallas forum", then the "sub-forums" within the Dallas forum, such as the indy forum, the amp forum, the coed forum, etc are all "child forums". I do think we would do better to call them "sub-forums" or some such to allay any appearance of that sort of impropriety.

Crossroads is correct. It's part of the software. Nothing can be done about it.
