Luckily I've only had 3 cancellations due to it. Their work pretty much cancelled or postponed trips. I just did an awesome Florida trip with a Gent for a few days because of it too. So I can't complain.

I've been drinking much more Scotch to fight off the virus and numb myself to the investment beatings I've been taking.

The "mass media" (or at least the kind in my orbit) has been repeating that paragraph for days.

Besides which, the reality is that people who are not infectious disease specialists or epidemiologists don't really know what is correct anyway. This includes the vast majority of at least one wing of the american "media."

It will undoubtedly negatively affect business. The trick is to not let it negatively affect income.

Exactly. Is society on that much of a fine edge that it just needs a little nudge here and there to tip it?

Look at the stock market. No one even knows what the overall affect of Corona will be but that didn't stop it from tanking.

Also with the introduction of lean production practices in most businesses, one interruption in the supply chain has a Domino action that has even broader ramifications because there are little to no reserves of anything.

It just goes, once again, to show how little there is actually holding things together.

I’ve pulled all my money out of the stock market. Lost about 10% of my portfolio but could have been much worse. And it will.
As for seeing sw, I would not go to an amp or even a legit massage joint. Sticking my face into the same donut that others just did doesn’t seem smart. Other then that, it’s one of the few fun things left right now. I’m still in.

The democrats and the media have done Russia then Impeachment now a virus caused by China is Trumps doing.
The democrats and the media want there to be a recession in hopes of Trump not be reelected. Remember, all government employed people local, state and federal get paid and keep their jobs no matter what. No affect on them so just shut down everything.

Wolf shutting down rest areas and truck stops was brilliant. Food and such just appears at grocery stores. No need to support the supply chain of truck drivers.
