My ancient Garmin iQue would automatically from switch daylight to night time display brightness. Very shortly the GPS units are going to combine the Google street view with a real time display so you'll see the actual street picture on the display. It will be pretty neat stuff. But seriously Ans, I'd be happy to be your chauffer ("Driving Miss Ansley").

Thanks for the offer, but I have been Miss Daisy for over 3 years. I'm lovin' being back in the driver's seat. Neat new car and a cool cd waiting for a road trip to the N Ga mountains or maybe Savannah. With all the great advice that I have received, I know that I won't be getting lost.

I crawled in my own back seat trying to think how this would work. It seemed roomier some 35-40 years ago.

Where do I put my legs? Is that thing gonna stick me in the back? What if my leg goes to sleep? How are we gonna clean up afterwards? Have any of you tried taking your jeans and boots off in the back seat lately?...or do I just leave them on? Will my belt buckle poke her? I don't really recall thinking about all these logistics back then.
