Blood pressure medication

Any of my 50+ guys out there have a blood pressure medication they are having good luck with? Just trying to keep on my A game.

Yes, I use Rx: Atenolol (50mg) as prescribed, and even cut the pill in half, I've been on it for about 15 or so years, with no problems.

Treadmill ,a water pill and a low salt diet works for me.

Atenolol and Diltiazem are my shots followed by Viagra (as needed) as a chaser.

I have rheumatoid arthritis and I also had high blood pressure. first thing I quit smoking I did gain weight but when the doctors found the right meds for my arthritis I have been able to exercise. I ride bike outdoors during the good weather and stationary bike during the winter. I lost 25 pounds kept it off and don't need bp meds anymore. I was on atenolol also.

Hydrochorothiazide for water on the knee.
Pindolol for nightmares.

Both work well for the issues at hand. My blood pressure is good now, too! Age- 48

Only problem is Hydrochorothiazide has side effect of ED in men....I found out the (non)hard way...

I was on lisinopril but the doctor changed my prescription to Amlodipine Besate.
