Veuve as well for me. I particularly enjoy savoring it while in the bath. I find that really opens up the fragrance and makes it such a sensual, irresistible experience

ohhhhhh If you have the chance to do the route of wine on France, Spain or Italy (champagne is in France, Cava in Spain and Prosecco in Italy) you will find little familiar bussiness, small wineries where the quality is great and you don't will miss the brand.

And the most funny thing is, the limited edition. Sometimes you find a great champagne, but if you want to buy again you will need to wait to the next harvest and the taste of the wine will depend on the grapes harvested during that season.

During the summer in Barcelona there's a big gastronomic event where the producers have stands and you can test and buy. I got organic cava, natural and yummy!

Perrier-Jouet

Belle Epoque for special occasions

Grand Brut for everyday. My ATF and I go through about 10 bottles a week and he just bought me the prettiest champagne bucket with a stand. I love it!

All time favorite is Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial. I have an unopened bottle of Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut. I'd like to try Veuve Clicquot Rose and Dom Perignon Rose before I open the Vintage Brut.

Bottle of Krug, any year will do. If you want to go for a smaller producer from Epernay, I love the Champagne of Geoffroy.

Wink I am normally not a label whore...

...& rarely pay retail but nothing compares to CRISTAL. I will drink ALMOST any champagne but it's watered down Fresca compared to CRISTAL. CRISTAL is true champagne. I'm not a wine snob or aficionado I actually can give the HOBBY the cedit for exposeing & educating me to such things. Many a dinner date, overnight or trip with you HOBBYIST I was deeply immursed in the finer things. CRISTAL being one of my faves. It reminds me of a former Sugar Daddy that's all he drank. That's why I nicknamed my lady bits CRISTAL...lol, cuz she's worth the effort & the cost!

Default Bubbles -- Yes!!!

Sorry for the bump, but couldn't help myself.

Champagne has been my favorite drink forever. Not a snob thing, I just like the taste. Hell, I've been known to drink champagne out of a red plastic Solo cup while in the back yard BBQ'ing.

I have my favorites at various price points. For the $40 and under price point, my fave is "J" by Jordan (technically a "sparkling wine" since it is from California).

My fave at the $40 to $100 price point is Schramsberg Rose.

$100+ is Dom. Boring, I know, but consistent quality.

My favorite at any price point is Drapier Grande Sendree. Its price fluctuates pretty wildly depending on supply since it is made in very limited quantities. Most Drapier champagnes are swill. However, several years ago Drapier purchased a much older vineyard next door to its own that had been in the same family for many years. The last surviving member of that family was aging and decided to sell the vineyard. Drapier uses the grapes from that vineyard only to make its Grande Sendree. Far and away the best champagne I have ever had. So smooth. If you can find a bottle (or a case), snap it up quickly since they don't last long. And if you do find it, invite me over to share it.

I remember yrs ago I was in Napa Valley, we toured a champagne & brandy winery, the sample room was free, I do believe our group has a fund time tasting the ones.!!

Default Favorite Champagne --By Tiffany Champagne

It's Holiday Time, and I feel it, besides snow in California--Ha ha
It's definitely Party Time and on with celebrating everywhere from office parties to house parties in Bel Air. Well, my favorite Champagne are Cristal Brut.

It's expensive, and the taste is superb.
I also love Veuve Clicquot Orange label, another favorite.
Don't forget the Beluga caviar and the lox.

Let's have fun and party on.

Xoxo

Veuve Clicquot. It's the first champagne house owned by a woman. And she was actually a widow, which is what Veuve means in French. And if you are not in the market for the $40 to $50 range try Freixnet Brut, or Cook's or Korbel. Sante', and Cheers!
