Default clock watching and time management

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Eccie audience,

I've often wondered about this so why not ask. Clock watching in not appropriate in my humble opinion. But yet, at the same time, how is a lady supposed to truly know when her time is up?

If there is a visible clock in the room, that would take care of the dilemma I suppose to a degree. But I don't think a lady should depend on others for her time management needs. Is it appropriate to have a cell phone alarm on? What do you ladies do? What do the fellas consider appropriate vs. rude? Sometimes, I do check my cell for the time. But I feel that puts a damper on the date. It ruins the mood and some of you fellas can be very sensitive emotionally. Yet, we providers are being paid for our time. I personally, never leave early. But I've noticed that without time management/clock watching I've gone over and donated 30 minutes to an entire hour! So now I have clients who book 1 hour and expect 90 minutes of my time because in the past I was trying to be polite and never checked the time and ended up staying way past the alloted time. Unfortunitely, once you give something for free, people don't want to pay for it. So where is the happy medium? I have used the cell phone alarm and I have had clients get offended by that! I would love to hear what the proper protocols are! Do you get offended by alarms on the cell? Clock watching?

An alarm might be a bit offensive for some lol but I just stay aware of the time he walked in and I will check my phone if needed i think its not rude. Also I think its not rude at all to end the date at the appropriate time if he stays over 5 minutes or so I think it should not be a problem but 30 minutes no thats time lost.

OK but what about outcalls? What if you go to someones place and there is no clock visible? So you think it's acceptable to check your cell phone?

Im not a clock watcher but i usually have a pretty good sense of time. I usually just check my phone or ask my guy to check the time.
I have not had anyone get offended yet or at least not told it was rude yet.

I would think that it is rude of the gent to just assume that since you went over last time he would be entitled to go over again and again with out compensating you.

maybe discussing it on an individual basis to see what your guy prefers. communication i think is key.

I can't stand the alarm clock mode on cell phones. There really annoying if she has it set @ 30, 15, 10, 5 minutes until time is up. I'm just getting started good at 30 minutes!!LOL

Why not just wear a nice looking watch? My watch is the one thing I almost never take off (except when I'm getting a massage, and even then I forget sometimes until they start massaging my arms ...) and I wouldn't think twice about a lady not taking it off as long as it doesn't look out of place. Wearing a watch is certainly less conspicuous than using an hour glass ...

Default Get an alarm clock that sounds like a baby crying

and put it in the next room; I know I wouldn't take ANY more of your time once I heard that.

I have music downloaded to my cell phone. I have playlist for HR and 2 HR dates. Once the music stops it is about time to finish up. I know at what point in the playlist that I have about 5 min left so that's my cue to make it happen soon. This way I am not looking at a clock or really concerned about time since I know exactly how much time I have left according to the music. I keep the volume down so it's not to distracting and try to choose songs that get me in the mood.

If he's not into music (i have some guys who don't want any sounds at all, no music or tv and yes some have asked to keep the tv on) I do an alarm JUST before he comes in that gives him an extra 5-10 on the alarm (in case he needs to wash up/quick shower beforehand and and not to tap into his hour, 90 mins, 2 hrs etc he came for) so when that goes off i know time his up because i know he's gonna clean up real fast all the while we're usually talking/joking around etc as he's about to leave or i am etc and technically by the very end in total i've probably actually given him up to an extra 15-20 mins at no cost to him.

I was thinking about the same thing but decided not to because some guys will flip out and call you a clock watcher if you ask them to leave within 15 mins. of their scheduled appointment end. They use alarmed timers at the bunny ranch.
