I was in a situation like that before (me on the very onset of a cold).

We actually went through with the session, just didn't do any DFK, DATY, or mish.

She didn't catch what turned out to be my cold afterwards and was just fine. She was visiting out of town, and I didn't want her trip to be wasteful.
Worked out OK.

Update:

feeling alot better today so i called her back.. apparently she has cold (stuffed nose, nothing else, nothing serous) also which was why she was fine with it b4.. what are the chances?? In this case, does 2 wrongs (both of us being sick) make a right? should I plow forward? Right now, mini-me is thinking yes

I'm certainly not trying to knock the way someone else does things, but personally I would be offended if a client came to see me while sick and did not at least warn me first (I would ask him to reschedule). I would most certainly never see any clients while sick, either. How do I know he doesn't have a brand new baby/grandbaby at home that could catch what I pass to him and get seriously ill? Or any other equally horrible scenario. Your actions affect many people around you, and I, for one, do not condone selfishly passing around communicable diseases for the sake of a good time or a little wad of cash. Daddy raised me to be considerate. Please, try not to take this a personal attack. It is not meant to be. Just my viewpoint.

I'm sure from the time of the start of this tread, "the date" has come and gone. However, I would look at it like this: You were not 100%, it was NOT a last minuite cancel, so no big deal on canceling. When you give advance notice, it should be not big deal to either party. Even if short notice, shit happens. No one wants to be sick. I really hate it when someone shows up at my office sick because they don't want to take a sickday. The world is not perfect, but if we treat each other like we would like to be treated, it would be a better place for all....IMHO.

You did right by canceling. Do not sweat it. If she does not want to reschedule its her choice.

Years ago in Dallas I scheduled with a provider several days in advance. The first time I had to cancel due to a work emergency in LA. The second time, I had to cancel due to the flu, it really was the flu. I was not about to pass on my cooties.
