... but I'll chalk that up to tears in their eyes and blurred vision from concentrating on coloring books the past month or so. I don't want to mention "stress" too strenuously, because the disability factor of stress induced voter syndrome will simply provide a new waive of entitlement applications seeking a last-minute approval for benefits with the hope they will be "GRANDMA'D" in to the system and later assert some Constitutional Right to continued payments even after their stress level has been sufficiently lowered to actually look for a job.
That's an interesting read and just shows how many dingbats reside in one state ..... but I also read an interesting article quoting similar facts from the state of New York ..... in the five counties that make up New York City, ( the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Richmond, and Queens ) Clinton won four of those counties ( with Trump winning only Richmond )..... and in those 4 counties she received 2 million more votes than Trump, and last time I checked her margin of the popular vote was about 2.9 million votes over Trump ..... and I suck at math but that means those 4 counties supplied around 80% of her victory margin ..... the United States is about 3.79 million square miles, and those 5 counties in New York City total 319 square miles ..... New York State has 62 counties, and Trump won 46 of them but the state went to Clinton ..... there are 3141 counties in the United States and Trump won 3,084 of them ..... in the ENTIRE country Clinton only won 57 counties!!!!!!! ..... yet she beat Trump by 2.9 million popular votes!!!!!! ..... now I know many of you will see this as pointless information, but it leads me to this ..... NOW do you understand exactly why some very smart people put the Electoral College in place?? ..... so some bitch cannot circumvent the will of the voters in EVERY state, and not just the 30 states that Trump won ..... and to prevent exactly what just happened from ruining the election process ..... it is the votes of the majority of the individual STATES that elect our president ..... and NOT the candidate who could carry only 47 counties nationwide but steal an election with almost 3 million more popular votes ..... the national United States map bleeds red for a reason .....

No, they don't! Just like Obaminable side-stepped Congress with his dictatorial pen, they want to "side-step" the voting provisions of the U.S. Constitution and the Federal statutes, not to mention the SCOTUS opinions in 2000.

without the electoral college we would transfer power from states to a few large cities
the ease in stealing elections would expand and the alienation of many parts of the united states would mean secession desires and sectional hatreds and impluses to become lawless would explode
people like de blasio and garcetti would rule

Another unexpected and positive aspect, of the Electoral College is it cancels out the Democrat Majority who "vote for a living". You know, the "Dindunuffins", 5th generation welfare pimps, 30 year old unemployed liberal arts majors living with their parents, and leeches on society in general.
Most of these people congregate in large urban areas on the left and right coast.
The Founding Fathers probably never saw this phenomina when the instituted the Electoral College, but suffice to say, they did it right.
