I don't think men in the deep south are any different than men in any other region where hair is concerned. I think the preference has more to do with age. It's tough to please everyone.

Personally, I like the natural look & feel, but I have gone back and forth with it. Fun to grow in the winter and then go for a more bare look in the spring and summer, especially in Texas. Gotta have bare arm pits, but kudos to you on filling that niche!

I'm currently enjoying a bit of both worlds in the dining area.

Figure I should say Thank you Zoey. Saw your post and all the positive comments. Was sick of stubble and shaving my pubic hair. Happy owner of a nice wide landing strip. Still keep my lips shaved bare. But my friends have been more than happy with the new look. Never thought of a man wanting it to look more womanly but when I discussed it with gentlemen I see often there was a resounding yes. Viva la bush!!!
Though I do have to keep my underarms bare.

I haven't seen a true 'bush' in a bout 10+ years. This is not counting landing strips, but bush.... bush.
I don't have a problem with them from what I remember from over a decade ago.

Now I will admit I can only recall two females who've I've met with armpit hair. One looked like George Jefferson with breast. The other was a very free spirit with her hygiene. (Just to clarify I didn't have sex or see them naked.) So I can't answer since I my points of reference aren't favorable. Though I am open minded to the idea.
