The more I think about it, the more I am thinking that Snowden is one brave mother fucker.
Right or wrong, it takes some guts to expose the criminal acts of the government.

WE are dupes.

They have us right where they want us.

There is no war on terror.
Yes there is you Muslim lover. We gotta do something.
They are and they are playing us against ourselves.

We gotta do something.
There ought to be a law.
Don't worry, ask and you shall receive.
To think this all started from the Patriot Act.
All they had to do was make sure Clinton did nothing so the demand for something to be done would exist.

Snowden will be made an example. He has embarrassed the criminals.

Snowden should be tried, convicted and hung as a traitor.
It has admittedly been several years since I last had occasion to read the relevant law and Executive Orders. However, to the best of my recollection, the civil (as opposed to military) law does not authorize the death penalty for any of the charges that could be laid against Mr. Snowden.

Imprisonment for up to ten years (I think), yes, but not death, by hanging or any other means.

Unfortunately, in order to try him, you generally have to have in your jurisdiction. At the moment, Snowden is out of reach.

Oh, and another thing: To the best of my knowledge, civilians do not take an "oath" to protect American secrets. They sign nondisclosure agreements. The nondisclosure agreements are just to ensure that the government can prove the guy knew he wasn't supposed to divulge the information: his signature on the dotted line proves he knew it.

Did you listen to his father?

He was on board to travel with FBI to persuade his son to return to U.S. with his lawyer, but FBI got testy almost at the moment of boarding the flight ... and dad bailed on them... claiming they were not committed to their promises. His "legal team" and he both agreed that his son was better off remaining in Russia. He was "safer" there than in U.S.

One does not do business with the Devil.

I am sure that bugtux, assup, and mke believe that the NSA is doing the right thing because Obama is the President. I am not surprised at them sucking the cock of this administration begging for the cumshot. I fully understand the inability of those that cannot see what is happening while blinded by the pubic hairs as they take it deep down their throats. The fact remains that our government is violating the law as set forth by the Constitution that you so hate because it limits government rather than the people. The inability to see a government that is out of control and gaming the system to drag each and everyone of us down with them is sad at best.

The more I see what this government is doing the more I believe that Snowden is a hero, risking his life to expose the criminality of this government.

Was just curious when the congress passed the bill through congress and has voted on it several times how did your rep vote. Don't blame them just Obie. Keep sucking those right wing dicks and you will go blind.

If you could check back to the days of ASPD, you would find that I have always opposed the Patriot Act.
Oh and my rep at the time was Shelia Jackson Lee.
check this out
techdirt.com/articles/20130725/10470123941/bizarre-flip-floppers-13-reps-who-voted-to-stop-patriot-act-spying-2-years-ago-to-continue-it-yesterday.shtml

Seems she was against it before she was for it and the only change was who was in charge.
Oh the duplicity of the Democrats.
