Question Wise Stub Reboot
Does anyone know what this is for? I tried GOOGLEing and get sites in Polish and German.

I'm trying to install a screensaver. I installed it with no dialogue box on an older computer that had the same firewall, but didn't prompt me for a decision.

But on my new laptop with Windows 7, the firewall prompt says:

ATI RADEON 9700 Moebius Strip Screen Savaer may be trying to prevent "Wise Stub Reboot" from running each time your computer is started by modifying the registry key: HKCU\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOW S\CURRENTVERSION\RUN

Is Wise Stub Reboot something important that shouldn't be prevented from running?

I recommend malwarebytes, spybot, and Microsoft Security Essentials, and AdwCleaner.


www.ninite.com is your friend. It downloads and one-click installs all the software, which you select, and installs them without any malware or 3rd party software.

You can get Malwarebytes, spybot, and MSE on ninite.com
You can find AdwCleaner on google, but only download it form the bleepingcomputer.com site.

Install MSE and Comodo Firewall.
