Crowdstrike provided the FBI with images of the DNC and DNCC servers they examined. They don't need the actual physical hardware.

It's trivially obvious that the images were made by a paid, partisan player in the case and that the chain of custody has been violated.

Mueller's indictments are nothing but smoke and mirrors. The people or groups indicted will never appear in an American courtroom, and the evidence does not meet the standards required to be admissible in an American courtroom.

I read that Crowdstrike provided the FBI with the LOGS of the DNC server. Big difference.

If they provided the FBI with the complete images of various DNC and DNCC servers, they potentially have access to the files and emails on those servers. (If the servers weren't set up correctly which is entirely possible considering their technical competence)

Default Discussions on this subject from the article cited above.

The system image may or may not contain all the metadata they would need to determine if it was indeed hacked. They keep failing to mention that the wikeleaks emails did contain the metadata that showed the download speeds used to gather it was done internally and copied to a usp drive or usb thumb drive but was not collected over the internet. Just a small fact that proves those documents came from an insider at the DNC.
Quote:
Or the Awan's did it as they had carte blanche access to everything the DNC had as they also controlled the then head of the DNC Debbie Whatshername Schitz
Quote:
there was no ip on the metadata. You can't just transfer data over the internet without an IP.
Quote:
Since imaging only copies files of the OS, it has no data from the BIOS where any hacker would install rootkit changes that are not detected in virus scans. Not actually inspecting the server to inspect the BIOS is not what the FBI would do if attempting to try someone for hacking a system.

LoL

No. This was an investigation into a possible hacking that was done to the DNC. This wasn't an investigation about wrongdoing by the DNC.

If you are not being charged with a crime, it is unreasonable seizure to take your stuff.

What happened here is that they asked the DNC for their cooperation so that they could identify hackers. In a situation like that, imaging is done.

Quote:
Kevin Goldman WG Flexx • a day ago
Agreed.
But that imaging is done by law enforcement not a private firm.
I don’t think Crowdstrike imaging is usable for evidence, they would lack a chain of custody on the evidence as well as having some potential bias in collecting it.

BINGO !!!

It depends on the relationship of Crowdstrike and the government. There isn't much of a chain of custody issue here since these computers are already being used all day every day.

They were hired by the DNC -- not the FBI

While that's true, a former FBI assistant director is president/CSO of Crowdstrike's incident response services.

This is the little problem :
CrowdStrike’s bias has been cited as
undependable in its own assessment, in addition to its skeptical
methods and conclusions. The firm’s CTO and co-founder, Dmitri
Alperovitch, is a senior fellow at
the Atlantic Council, a think tank with openly anti-Russian sentiments
that is funded by Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk, who also
happened to donate at least $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Crowdstrike is tied to Fusion and Hillary, both use Perkins Coie. Allegedly, Fusion recommended Crowdstrike to the DNC.

No, but the phrase "conflict of interest" comes to mind.🤔

Crowdstrike may have a close relationship with the government, but they are not sworn officers of the law, thus there is no real chain of custody. This is something that a competent defense attorney would seize on and the question of if such evidence would be presentable in court is a real and difficult issue for Mueller's team if they ever have to try the case.
Computer images can be altered, have data added or removed, so a chain of custody would be necessary if the evidence was challenged.

Imaging of a server is not enough to conduct such investigation.
Quote:
SkepticalQuery WG Flexx • a day ago
Got it. They didn't want to give their computers, even though it would have made the FBI's job easier, and had the same impact on them as the tack they chose. I wasn't blaming anyone else for their choice, just questioning why their choice makes any sense if they want to catch those pesky Russians.
Quote:

Does the DNC really want the Russians caught or not?
Quote:

Even in that case, just a server image is insufficient to conduct a proper investigation.

Obambi was DISBARRED by Illinois in 2002
Obambi failed all his College Courses
Obambi was at best a mediocre pupil at School
Obambi used an Indonesian Passport to go to Pakistan in 1981
Obambi received FOREIGN STUDENT funding in College.

Not true you say and I say OK PROVE it.

An open CHALLENGE to all the loyal USURPER worshipers . All of those documents listed below are HIDDEN. So take the list of documents that he is HIDING and give us a point by point explanation why each one is being HIDDEN or alternatively show WHERE that information is AVAILABLE for scrutiny. Only when you have done that can you then throw out your wild accusations of conspiracy nut against anyone. The ones who ARE CONSPIRING are the ones who are HIDING the documents not those merely asking to see them and only a blind worshiper would have the reverse morality to see it any other way. So lets see what you are made of.

Oh and just in case you want to pretend you dont know what is missing here is a list .
Here apart from his Vault Birth Certificate are just some but my no means ALL of the OTHER documents and information the Obamanation is HIDING.

There is a lifetime of “missing” documentation — but it must a coincidence — it has to be a coincidence — just keep telling yourself, “it’s a coincidence.”

Obama/Dunham divorce — Released (by independent investigators)

Soetoro/Dunham marriage license — Not released

Soetoro adoption records — Not released

Punahou School records — Not released

Soetoro/Dunham divorce — Released (by independent investigators)
Soetero/Obama name change documentation - Not released

Selective Service Registration — Released — Probable counterfeit

Occidental College records — Not released and vigorously defended

Passport records — Not released and official government passport files scrubbed clean by John O. Brennan — now Obama’s terrorism and intelligence czar

Just a coincidence???????????

Columbia College records — Not released

Columbia thesis — “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament” — Not released

Harvard College records — Not released

Harvard Law Review articles — None

Illinois Bar Records — Not released

Baptism certificate — None

Medical records — Not released (unless you count a one-pager from his personal physician saying Obama’s healthy)

Just a coincidence????????

Law practice client list — Not released

University of Chicago scholarly articles — None

Annenberg Challenge Board Minutes — None

Illinois State Senate records — None

Illinois State Senate schedule — Lost

Almost 50 years old and there’s no paper trail — coincidence, Would you hire someone with this curriculum vitae? The man is completely undocumented. You don’t know anything about Obama — operative word, KNOW. None of us really do because he and his life are undocumented — an impossible coincidence — and Obama fiercely defends the release of what documentation is available.
Some of us believe that something isn’t on the level and that we are entitled as United States citizens to ask any damned politician who he is, what his politics are, what his agenda is, where he came from and who sent him.

read that.

the de-duplication thing was interesting. never heard of that term before. had to look it up.

the emails were said to have been in the 300,000 email range.

I'm assuming that they were duplicates because of CC and BC in the header that were sent to other people in the email chain.

they were saying that they had trouble deleting the duplicate emails as it was missing metadata.

the punditry was saying bullshit on that technical aspect.
