I had a female Siamese that did the same. These two breeds tend to be more emotionally high strung than most.

On the other hand my toy breed dog is used to an indoor pad so he will poop on a rug if I take him over to a friends house which is a bummer.

At least the turds are easier to pick up being tiny and dry. In fact I've met a few granny providers who were the exact same way. Sorry I couldn't resist
