Default A little shaken

So maybe this happens all the time. And I shouldn't be concerned. I'm new that's easy enough to tell.
I made arrangements with a lady for my hotel in Webster. She showed, and we talked for quite some time. Interesting lady, didn't bother with the donation. Maybe she was checking me over, making sure I wasn't something dangerous. Fair enough, thinking this over, I probably made her uneasy hence the desire or excuse that she wanted to go eat. I asked if she was coming back. She asked if I wanted her to. I said yes. I walked her out. Went back to
My room and ganders out my window. Noticed a police suburban.
Now very uneasy, I grabbed the minimals and slipped away. Not 5 minutes, and several more LE vehicles arrived. I observed from a distance for a bit. Probably an hour with several officers in and out of the motel, they finally dispersed. I waited a little longer and went for the rest of goods. A few unfriendly messages from the lady for sending Leo to harass her, I figured it's a good time to relocate. I traveled here for work. Be done soon, never been in much trouble to speak of, but is this common?
Did maybe management just pick up on her vehicle in her the lot? I did my research well the lady is highly reviewed, excess of 100. Suggestions? Or is this just part of daily risk?

Oh yes. Especially when the lodging establishment is a motel and not a hotel.

MoTel is short for Motor Hotel

(Doors on the outside....park in front of your door.)

I disagee with GS ... There are quite a few places I would consider to be motels that have inside doors and hallways. These places cater to families, blue collar business travelers, monthly stays, ect.

And while they are on the higher-end of motels I would consider springhill suites, drury inns, ect all motels as well.

Hotels cater to mostly executive business travelers - Omni, Hyatt, Marriott, Westin, Holiday inn, Hilton, Embassy, Four Seasons, High-end boutiques, ect. Places with restaurants and room service.

Just like you say....."consider"

I'm giving the vintage definition. Like back when male had a penis and female had a pussy.

Definitions today are what people consider them to be.

But I agree with your point that some hotels cater to people in cars looking for place to shit shower and sleep vs needing life support with finer amenities.

So a room at the Hilton or marriots would draw less attention? Interesting to consider.
