I didn't say anything about the federal budget deficit or the national debt. I asked you about the merchandise trade deficit. Why do you conflate the two? Think external, not internal.

What steps would YOU take to reduce our $1.2 trillion annual deficit in goods exchanges with the rest of the world? Any ideas? Tell us exactly how you think we can increase our exports and curtail our imports. Extra credit if you can propose ways to do it without ruffling the feathers of our major trading partners.

Or don't offer any constructive ideas, if that's your wont. Just keep playing Debbie Downer... oof!

Bit off more than he could chew

“We have, at the same time, 150 countries that want to make a deal, but you’re not able to see that many countries. So at a certain point, over the next two to three weeks, I think Scott and Howard will be sending letters out, essentially telling people – we’ll be very fair – but we’ll be telling people what they’ll be paying to do business in the United States,” Trump said.
Not enough time to make the deals so they'll just pick tariffs and send out letters.

Lololol. trump is such an assclown

The funniest part is how MAGA has to constantly shift their arguments, and even belief systems, to keep his ass covered at all times. The mental gymnastics these people perform on a daily basis is astounding. I'm almost embarrassed for them, but this is the cult they chose. So, fuck 'em. They can keep looking like cheap whores for him.

Nary a peep out of either Gristle or tommy on how the United States should go about shrinking our gargantuan $1.2 trillion annual trade deficit.

Why am I not surprised? Constructive ideas always elude them. Too much work. Trashing trump no matter what he does is easy and more fun.

It’s easier to be a part of the problem rather than the solution. Trump is providing solutions. And succeeding

Sad, really. A lot of Americans shop at WM. I got got some of their tasty fried chicken.

Man, that whole 90 deals in 90 days could have been cool if he stuck with it and actually pulled it off.

But, fuck negotiating amirite? Let's just unilaterally set up tariffs, wing it and hope there's no retaliation. Can't wait to see these letters. Hoping for some good ones.
