Ford deserves to be treated with dignity, not maligned or attacked. But let’s not forget that Kavanaugh is human too. This ordeal affects not only him but also his family, including his two young daughters, who are hearing awful things said about the father they love. He cannot prove a negative. So far, there are accusations but no corroborating evidence. And accusations without evidence cannot be the standard by which a man’s reputation and career are ruined.

These days, yes it does seem a mere single accusation can ruin a man. THAT's why i am hot and heavy, in my desire to SEE those who make fake claims getting prosecuted.

Sadly, this #metoo stuff has resulted in an attitude that every woman must be believed. If you even question her for details to make or break a case, you are accused of shaming a victim, even if she has yet to prove anything happened. That attitude needs to stop. Remember, despite all Democrats have tried, men are still innocent until proven guilty. And I agree, women proven to have filed phony charges need to pay a heavy legal price for trying to ruin a man's life.

It's not a rumor / accusation if you allow full FBI investigation along with supporting witnesses. By stonewalling, refusing to investigate or take the accuser seriously it's actually the Republicans making this a rumor / accusation.

She got a letter. She sat on it. She did not bring it forth as evidence before the judiciary committee so witnesses could be called.
