By all means tell me who you think I used to be on this board if you are so certain. What did that person say or do that makes me their doppelganger?

I never asked for dollar amounts so your accusation is off base. I asked for it expressed as a percentage. For example, here's kind of what I was thinking I would get, "I used to be in automotive sales, now I make about 30% more than I used to"...

Why? It's a sobering reality that some people get into doing things with gold in their eyes and end up somewhere far below their goals or sometimes far above their expectations. I was thinking that it would open up a conversation about how that providers have improved their lives financially in some way and wouldn't be afraid to say it. But you clearly think I have some ulterior motive. I don't. I mean no harm to anyone.

Does someone really have to tell you that asking about income or finances in any manner is just too fucking personal? Use your head man. If you cant figure that out you have some social skills problems. Have you not learned yet that this hobby crap is mostly bullshit. It is a place to get your rocks off in fantasy and that's it. No other crap matters. It is GFE Girlfriend Experience or PSE Porn star experience the little facts made up in between about previous jobs, income and all the other crap is bullshit. Facts made up to complete your fantasy. If you want to be an airline pilot, fuck tell the lady you are an airplane pilot, she will play along. Live your fantasy man, live it here. You may have some social problems and maybe that's why you are here. Not being mean, being straight, no one has to tell me not to ask people about their income or finances until I am on a plain of marriage or something close like that. I have good friends I don't ask about their income or finances in any way, just not right. Want to know the answer to your question? Each lady here makes enough to satisfy herself to stay or she would be gone. They make more than they used to - much more or they would not be here. you cant offend anyone here, know body knows you and no body cares. You will not get responses when you ask impolite questions though.

Who made you the arbiter of polite conversation? Dude, I'm an entrepreneur, you are clearly a wage slave. I can tell because wage slaves are taught to keep quiet about how much the make lest it be used against their employer in negotiations. Businesses routinely discuss earnings growth without divulging dollar amounts. If you think for a second that the girls on this site are doing this just for fun then you sir are delusional. It's business and it's a livelihood. The only thing I do more thinking about than sex is thinking about money and how to make it. Business understanding only comes from studying businesses. Escorts are businesses it's not personal love of theirs to suck your dick. They make us feel like it but it's not.

You referring to another as delusional, now that is a hoot. The ladies may be running a business but they do loves them some 1.3" of dangling death.

Bizzly you know nothing about me, so your assumptions will not affect anyone. I do not see one complete response to your question. Not one lady or person got on here and told you they make 300% more than they used to as a nurse or waitress or whatever. It is like me asking Home Depot how much is your mark up on this product? Not going to tell me because it can only open up to bartering and talking down prices. Not good business. We are the customers here and the ladies discussing their finances in this setting is just dumb business. I don't know what business you are in but I know you don't tell your customer base your profit margins, your expenses, your P & I stmt, Balance sheet or any ratios that help you run your place of business. Read my post, it plainly states that it is FANTASY, no love in this place. We are saying the same thing when it comes to the ladies here. I am saying I am not surprised you did not get your answers.

First it was impolite, now it's bad business. Ok man. I get we disagree. Yours is justified by the lack of response so I'll concede. But this is the internet. Why give zero fucks about any of it? Go treat yourself to a beer mate I'm drinking on your behalf right now.

Also, how much of a boost in income did you receive as expressed as a percentage of what you used to make per year. Obviously per hour rates increased but that comes with overhead and you probably don't fill the full 2000 hour labor inventory of a full time worker with sex work right? Per year what kind of boost in income did you experience?

Also, what kind of expenses came up that you didn't expect that erode your profit?
I started doing sex work at 18, and escorting at 19. Before that, I painted houses, tutored and mentored at-risk/low-income children, and worked in the shipping department of a big box store. I hated it all, but unfortunately, as an unskilled teenager yet to earn a college degree, I was doomed to minimum wage labor.

I started sex work around the same time I started my first job at a small law firm in Seattle. An early benefactor let me use him as a reference, which got me the job.

I now work at a huge law firm in the Bay Area. I plan to be in law school around Spring semester 2017, and a licensed attorney by 2021. I'd like to take on sex workers rights cases (pretty much criminal defense) on a sliding scale / pro bono basis, and practice some other type of law to actually make a living.

I make about the same escorting as I do at the office, were I to work full time (I'm only part time at the office right now).

Basically, all the overhead combined is just huge. Clients really have no grasp of it, unless they've run their own business themselves, and even then, they might see sex work as somehow "easy money." It's not. I've spent thousands of dollars on advertising, thousands of dollars on hotels, thousands of dollars on lingerie, drivers (Uber), flights, memberships to blacklist databases..... It all adds up. I dropped about $600 on advertising in the past week alone.

Escorting is the best job I've ever had. It's been my sole source of income, and now it's a supplement to my legal work. I have found that I'm a lot happier, and more successful, when I have a "day" job. Probably something to do with the scarcity of my availability that has all the men chomping at the bit to see me ;-)

As others have stated, I can see why it might not make the most sense for providers to share their previous occupations. I'll share what I aspire to do in the future: midwifery. Nevertheless, I don't look at engaging in sex work as something I'm in a rush to get out of. I'll likely be doing some type of sex work for a time, even as I do other forms of work.

I use to fly out every Monday and not fly home until Friday while working a high stress corporate job. A corporate buy out followed by downsizing was a blessing in disguise. I took the package and got my life back. Now I'm back in school and still work a full time bookkeeping job. Oh and I provide in my limited spare time. Financially it's a wash but this is much more fun.

I'm starting to think that bizzly is some kid trying to get his/her thesis going.

The "profit" is not quite as high as you would think but the additional bonuses of free time, loads of endorphins from sex, flexibility of scheduling, and being able to control EVERYTHING about our business offers us a better quality of life than most 9 to 5's. I can confidently say my quality of life will not be greater at a traditional job until my salary is over 250,000.

On-topic.....teaching, logistics management, corporate training, and insurance sales.

I agree with this. My quality of life has improved tremendously with the amount of freedom (freedom is priceless to me). I hated answering to my boss daily working 9 to 5 job with 3 weeks vacation. I felt like a slave. I was miserable … my alpha female personality needs more freedom!!

Now I have the time to do whatever I want to do and the means to do it. Life is great! House is paid off, no debt, I can pursue my hobbies and passion. Life has just begun! :-)
